In his first year of nursing, Matthew was thrown into the deep end of ...a global pandemic and chats about his experience. Here's what you need to know: Next Friday 16 October, Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation's Radiothon fundraising appeal goes live from 6am to 6pm. During this 12-hour period, all donations will be doubled by generous matchers. On the same day, tune in from 4pm to 5:30pm for our first-ever virtual #Radiothon2020 event, hosted by TV personality Melissa Doyle. Our virtual event will be filled with patient and staff stories including more from Matthew. Radiothon will broadcast on 7NEWS Sydney and WSFM with Jonesy and Amanda and aims to raise $1 million o raise vital funds for the latest equipment, research and vital services for sick kids. We are still unable to run our Child and Parent days in the prisons due to COVID restrictions so our talented ...team have been running craft days with the Mums and Dads in custody to help them make very special Christmas gifts for their kids.
