22.01.2022 The devastation across our State has us wanting to help where we can. There are many ways to financially contribute to the bushfire efforts including the RFS and WIRES. If you have anything left over, please consider giving to this organisation on the South Coast where so many animals have been injured: Wildlife Rescue South Coast Inc - https://www.wildlife-rescue.org.au/... One of our Labor women, Leanne Atkinson is involved with this group. The majority of volunteers are retirees who are trying to protect and help the wildlife on the South Coast.

19.01.2022 Jodi McKay MP is right. Women have borne the brunt of this recession. There's more that needs to be done besides some construction jobs in Sydney. We need to ensure that childcare remains free and accessible beyond September 2020. This will help women by breaking down one of the biggest barriers to employment. 08.01.2022 Giving birth should be a joyous occasion, full of love, hope and wonder for the future. When that occasion is cut short due to the death or severe impairment of your baby due to poisonous gas being inadvertently delivered to your baby - there are no words for this. How did this happen? Medical gas installation is unlicensed work in NSW. This tragedy took place in June 2016, and still there is no change to the laws ensure that medical gas fitters are fully licensed. Four yea...rs since a newborn baby boy died, and a newborn baby girl suffered irreversible brain damage. Mark Buttigieg MLC has introduced a Private Members Bill to stop this tragedy for ever happening again. This should never have happened in the first place, but we need to ensure that it will never happen again.

08.01.2022 The fight continues to ensure women are in all places decisions are made.

05.01.2022 "New analysis by Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre shows that young women can expect to pay an extra $498 million each year towards their education, and young men an additional $339 million under the changes." And some people say that there's no such thing as gender inequality
