19.01.2022 During Covid restriction, the Ball committee have been able to meet on line. Here's our latest announcement. The NSW Line Dance Ball Committee met in an online meeting on Sunday 16 August 2020. We are now pleased to announce that on Sunday 11 October, 2020 representatives of the Committee will attend Ronald McDonald House Westmead to make the official presentation on this year's donation of $10,000. We will also be drawing the 2020 NSW Line Dance Ball major raffle with the ...assistance of RMH management. The draw will be filmed live and be available to watch on the Ball Facebook page. We appreciate everyone’s patience regarding the raffle draw, however it was important that we were able to organise a completely transparent event and all former plans have been continually thwarted by Covid-19 restrictions. 17.01.2022 On behalf of the NSW Line Dance Ball committee, I would like to thank both Maddison Glover and Adrian Lefebour for giving their time freely to choreograph and teach their latest dance, Muddy Water Healing, as part of our fundraising efforts last Saturday. Thank you to our committee members who worked tirelessly and voluntarily throughout the day and evening to ensure that all attendees had a fabulous evening of dance and friendship. We can not forget our attending Instructors... who supported us throughout the evening, and most importantly, our line dancers who contributed to the success of the day. I know that the children and their families at Ronald McDonald House will be most grateful for all our efforts. It was great to have Michael Wilcock and his Cafe in a Box on hand to provide delicious coffee for all those attending. 13.01.2022 Another Fundraiser being held for a great Cause - Due to Covid restrictions, the 2021 NSW Line Dance Ball in Sydney has been cancelled. Instructors from Sydney and regional NSW are holding fundraiser socials in conjunction with the NSW Line Dance Ball Committee either on or around the original date for this years Ball. All funds raised will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Greater Western Sydney. We are pleased to announce the Information regarding the Fundraising Social being held by Shoalhaven Line Dancers in conjunction with the NSW Line Dance Ball 2021. 07.01.2022 This morning, representatives of the NSW Line Dance Ball committee were pleased to present a cheque for $10,000 to the staff of Ronald McDonald House Charities Westmead. Despite the cancellation of this years Ball due to Covid 19, our line dance community maintained their usual generosity. Everyone is grateful for your continued support of our efforts.

07.01.2022 The NSW Line Dance Ball Committee met on Sunday 22 November, 2020 and decided to officially cancel the 2021 Annual Ball. The decision was not made lightly, but ...the committee felt that there was no guarantee the ball, in its usual form, would be able to go ahead. We have invited Instructors from NSW to conduct concurrent fund-raising socials on or near Saturday 10 April, 2021 as an alternative event to the ball. We have received positive responses to this invitation. All monies raised at these events will be in aid of Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney. We invited Maddison Glover to workshop a dance prior to the commencement of the 2021 ball and she is still happy to choreograph a dance especially for our fundraising activities. Further details regarding this will be acknowledged in the new year. Ronald McDonald House Charities will organise a Fund Raising Event page on their website where these events will be advertised. Our NSW Line Dance Ball Facebook page and our website will also advertise these events. We would love you to join us, so that together we can continue to raise much needed funds from the Line Dancing Community for Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney in 2021.
