22.01.2022 With limited outdoor activities now permitted and the return of face-to-face Scouting on the horizon, now is the best time to get ready to get back to Scouting ...as we know it! Some sports and other activities were cancelled due to COVID but Scouting continued and will keep going until the end of the year. We know that the return to face-to-face Scouting may be challenging in a number of ways for some families. The NSW Government’s Active Kids rebate can assist with the cost of Scouting. The good news is that the second Active Kids voucher will be available to claim in a few short weeks. Mark 1 July on your calendar for the release of the second Active Kids voucher. This year, both Active Kids vouchers used with Scouts will go towards the cost of the Scouts NSW membership fee (and joining fee if you are a new member). For more information, click here: https://www.nsw.scouts.com.au/activekids/

13.01.2022 At Scouts NSW, we know that it’s important to match our words with our actions. To do what we say we will do is key to being a Scout. To LIVE by the Promise and... Law (and the Code of Conduct for adults) is to make sure the actions we take each day align with our values. This includes living by our Policies and Procedures, supporting others to do the right thing and showing respect to others. By living out our Promise and Law (and Code of Conduct for adults), we all play a part in creating an environment where all our members are safe, supported and empowered. KNOW IT. LIVE IT. LOG IT. SAFE FUN FOR ALL. Find out more here: www.nsw.scouts.com.au/youthprotection/knowit-liveit-logit/
