23.01.2022 Great to be in Scone with Minister for Regional Transport and Roads Paul Toole and NSW Nationals candidate for Upper Hunter Dave Layzell to make some exciting a...nnouncements for the region. The NSW Government, with the Federal Government and Upper Hunter Shire Council, is investing $15 million to upgrade Bunnan Road, Moonan Brook Road and Barrington Tops Forest Road. These projects will not only ensure a safer journey for all road users but create more than 50 jobs at a time when they’re needed most. On top of this, the Upper Hunter township of Scone will benefit from a new town square thanks to a $2 million grant from the NSW Government as part of its commitment to beautify and revitalise regional public spaces. Town squares are the heart of any regional town and I’m so pleased we are able to provide this funding for one of the most beautiful towns in NSW. The NSW Nationals in Government are committed to building a safer, stronger Upper Hunter.

09.01.2022 I support the Federal Government’s plan to build a new gas-fired power station in Kurri Kurri. The proposed $600 million project will safeguard our energy secur...ity, acting as a crucial back-up source for baseload power generation once the Liddell plant goes offline in 2023. This is about applying downward pressure to energy prices and keeping the lights on across NSW.

01.01.2022 I was delighted to update the House recently on the expansion of the highly successful School Wellbeing Nurse program. The nurses are making a huge difference ...in their communities. I recently received a wonderful text message from a school principal in Cooma who said that the program had been incredible and was a wonderful thread weaving through the many services that she had seen in schools. I could not have been more humbled. See more
