16.01.2022 In part three of our ANZAC tribute and in commemoration of the NSW Police Band's 125th Anniversary this year: today we share a moving work composed by Phillip Sparke for wind symphony, set to the beautiful words of poet Lawrence Binyon in his poignant tribute to the fallen soldiers. Hear gorgeous playing by the NSW Police Wind Symphony and its featured soloists under the baton of maestro John Saunders. This work also features a very special guest as narrator: His Excellency G...eneral The Honourable David Hurley, Governor-General of Australia. A unique and touching tribute to the ANZACs on this, the eve of ANZAC day. We would like to pay a special tribute here to those members of the NSW Police Force who tragically lost their lives in the line of active service. This work and other ANZAC commemorative works are available on our 'March of the Anzacs" CD. To purchase: please email us at [email protected]
