We send our love and respect to the families of our membership who passed away. We will always remember and honour them. To our Members, Affiliates, Supporters and the many Volunteers who are part of our Refereeing Family we wish you a safe and healthy 2021 and thank you sincerely for assisting us in getting through 2020.

Brian #508 was made a Life Member of the NSWRLRA in 1974 and has served the Association with great dedication, enthusiasm and loyalty. 15.01.2022 FROM THE VAULT - Looking Back to our Heritage. Referee: Barry Goldsworthy Canterbury and Newton made history on Sunday, March 28th, 1982 when they battled out a nil-all draw in the fifth round of the season at Henson Park. The result is the only nil-all draw to be played in the premiership dating back to 1908, although the third test between Australia and England in 1930 was scoreless.

13.01.2022 A note from Canterbury-Bankstown Rugby League Referee's Association. NSWRLRA is pleased to support. -------------------------------------------------------------------- | GoFundMe - Owen Millar | Members, Unfortunately, this week our Association was advised of some terrible news, with one of our active members, Owen Millar, being diagnosed with testicular cancer.... Owen is a fine young man and has been an exceptional member in his short time with us - receiving the Matthews-Styles Award in 2019 for his efforts as a first-year member. Our Association has reached out to Tim (Owen's father) and have re-iterated we will be supporting Owen every step of the way as he heads into surgery next week. One of Owen's friends has set up a GoFundMe Page to raise funds for his treatment and to support his family, with the Association pledging $500 towards this. If any member would like to donate, please use the link below: https://www.gofundme.com/f/fundraiser-for-owen-millar... We wish Owen and his family the very best during this difficult time and I ask you all keep Owen in your thoughts. Daniel Gardner Hon. Secretary CBDRLRA Inc See more

Doug has played an integral part in the development of many referees throughout the country. His extensive contribution is most noted for the countless hours spent running coaching courses which have allowed potential referees to take their first steps in their refereeing journey.
