23.01.2022 Several Brigade members travelled to Nowra today to attend the funeral for Bruce Roffe. Bruce was our Captain from 1995 to 2005, Senior Deputy Captain from 1990 to 1995 and Deputy Captain from 1982 to 1990. Bruce was a mentor to many members, especially during the 2003 Canberra fires, and also a bit of a larrikin. We have many fond memories of him. Our sympathies to Ros and family. Rest In Peace.

19.01.2022 The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting a 100% chance of rain with between 30-45mm expected on Saturday. This amount of rain following an already wet few weeks ...may cause some havoc in the area. There will be swelling to the Queanbeyan River, at this time no flooding is predicted.
