19.01.2022 Sunday night update **Road closures/impacts** Soldiers settlement bridge west of Canowindra is closed. George Russell Dr (Woodstock Rd) is open, however there is a small amount of water over the road so please drive carefully.... **River update** The Belubula river has had a few small rises and decreases throughout the day, but has remained reasonably steady. We expect flooding to continue through the night and into tomorrow. The unit field team have been stood down for some well deserved rest overnight, but they remain on standby if required. Unit operations team are monitoring the river remotely via the automatic gauges and will provide any updates required. **A quick word from our unit commander** I’d just like to say a massive thank you to all members of our unit, you’ve worked hard during the past 36 hours and it really is appreciated. Thank you to the business in town that support us, without you we wouldn’t be able to run! And a huge thanks to the community for reporting anything out of the usual/unsafe, and also not entering or playing in flood waters! Never walk, ride, drive or play in floodwaters! All other roads remain unaffected and are open. **River Update** Current readings of the river indicate that it will fall throughout the day. The gauge at John Grant bridge is at 4.86M and falling. Never walk, ride, drive or ply in floodwaters. If you need assistance during a flood or storm call the NSW SES on 132500. If your emergency is life threatening please call 000 immediately! 12.01.2022 Flooding update Settlement bridge road is closed All other roads remain open at the moment.... We have two teams in the field gathering flood intelligence for future operations, if you see them out and about give them a wave! Further updates will be provided as they become available.

All other roads usually affected by the belubula are open, including Belubula way at Cherry Tree, and George Russell Dr (Woodstock Rd).... **River update** At the moment the river at John Grant Bridge is at 4.92M and steady. With rain continuing throughout the day we may see the river go up and down a few times. Never walk, ride, drive or play in flood waters!
