21.01.2022 Tonight at training we had two scenario training. They were working from heights and Industrial and Domestic Rescue. We also had the pleasure of having inspector Wurth from NSW police force attend to meet the members of NSW SES Gunnedah unit. Training nights are Tuesday nights from 6:30pm (1830hrs) at the Bill Clegg Emergency Service Centre on Bennett Rd.

08.01.2022 Single car accident care of NBN NEWS. Gunnedah SES Unit was activated to an road crash on the Boggabri road. The 40 year old was trapped by injury. The Gunnedah SES Unit is one of the oldest accredited Rescue Units in NSW. Our mission is saving lives and protecting community. If you would like to help the community and become a fully trained GLR (general land rescue) Volunteer contact the Gunnedah SES Rescue Unit by FB or go online to the NSW SES and look at what you can do for your community.

08.01.2022 Tonight at training we set up a scenario for next Tuesday night training and set up an A frame with the arachnipod. If you are interested in joining the SES as a volunteer. We trains in Flood Rescue , Storms and Water Damage and Tsunamis. Gunnedah unit also trains in General Land Rescue and Road Crash Rescue, but you can train in any of skills you’re want to learn. We train on a Tuesday night from 6:30pm (1830hrs) at the Bill Clegg Emergency Service Centre our on Bennett Road (Gunnedah Shire Council Depo). You are welcome to come out and see what we do as an Emergency Organisation.

03.01.2022 Last night the members of Gunnedah had a RCR (road crash rescue) training night, with two members also being assessed and were deemed competent.

01.01.2022 The NSW SES commissioner Carlene York, NSW SES Western Zone Commander David Monk and NSW SES Western Zone Depty Commander Mitch Parker visited the Gunnedah unit on Monday (14/09/2020) afternoon to discuss about the future direction for the service.
