22.01.2022 The state MP for North Shore, Felicity Wilson, today officially handed over the keys to North Sydney’s new Fourth Generation Light Storm Vehicle. It’s already proved it’s worth in the field and will be a boon to helping the people of North Sydney with the storm season already upon us. A timely reminder to our community to clear loose material from your gardens and balconies when you hear a storm is on its way.

15.01.2022 Farewell Robert Webster. Robert was only a member of North Sydney SES for 18 months but he made a huge impact during that time. He was a regular field operator, helping his community at times of significant need. He was also a regular duty officer fielding requests for assistance at all times of the day and night and organising crews to attend. Over the last few months, Robert threw a lot of energy into planning the future training needs of his SES colleagues. COVID 19 threw ...a spanner in the works but his efforts won’t be wasted and it will be his lasting legacy to the unit. Robert’s entire life fitted him for service and working outdoors. He joined the Department of Foreign Affairs after graduating with honours in political science and Indonesian and Malaysian affairs and was posted to the Embassy in Jakarta and the High Commission in Port Moresby. He loved the bush, was a keen walker and kayaker. He died last Sunday after collapsing while out for a run in the streets of his beloved North Sydney. We will miss him greatly. See more
