22.01.2022 NEW RULEBOOK AVAILABLE NOW WHAT’S NEW? The September 2020 edition of the Speedway Australia rulebook is now available for download. In addition to a general f...reshen up, the rule changes relate to the introduction of new safety standards from the FIA and Snell Foundation. * New FIA safety standards, FIA 8856-2018 * New Snell SA2020 helmet standard from 1 October * Phasing out of Snell SA2010 standard from 1 July 2021, in accordance with Snell Foundation guidelines Safety Liz advises, These new standards are in addition to the existing standards so there is no immediate change necessary for any competitors. 20.01.2022 Drivers and teams, a decision will be made at 9am regarding tonight’s racing. A cancellation due to bad weather looks likely.

20.01.2022 Welcome on Board two key sponsors for our next 3 races Cox Automotive - Hard Charger $100 American Racing Tires 7th finisher in feature race.

20.01.2022 IMPORTANT - Updated racing calendar for 2020-21 After discussions with several promoters we have now added several races to the calendar. As Valvoline Raceway has made the decision to postpone an announcement on plans to open until December we have provisionally removed previously scheduled races from the calendar. ... This is an unfortunate situation as a result of COVID 19 restrictions impacting Valvoline Raceway , the Committee's intention is to ensure our members continue to race. Once Valvoline Raceway advises their intentions we will review which races will be at Valvoline Raceway. See more

13.01.2022 Here is the latest VR update, sorry kids no racing yet.

12.01.2022 We've had a couple of questions come in on the registration fee structure for the coming season, and whether any allowances will be made for the shortened 19/20... season which impacted some states. Registration (Speedcars Australia Membership) fees will remain as per usual as we head toward season 20/21. This $320 fee allows for the funding allocation to all affiliated clubs for their blue ribbon events, tow money pools, and promotions; including supporting the clubs who lost their blue ribbon funded events with the COVID-19 impacts last season and are planning double-run events this upcoming season. With the uncertainty of the upcoming season plans and restrictions differing state-by-state, it is recommended all teams stay in close contact with your local affiliated club. Clubs, Speedcars Australia and the various tracks are monitoring the continuously changing environment across the country.

12.01.2022 Tonight’s race meeting at Lismore Speedway has been cancelled. Teams, travel safely back home and a special thank you to the QLD teams for their support of this event.
