02.01.2022 The Indigenous Community Architecture Award 2020 Northern Territory Architecture Awards Women's Safety Services of Central Australia Shelter by Tangentyere Design. Congratulations The Women’s Safety Service of Central Australia (WoSSCA) provides crisis accommodation in Alice Springs for women and their children who are experiencing domestic violence. WoSSCA offers safe respite and space for restoration of dignity, agency and respect. The planning and design of the new... shelter facility has tried to honour these values. The project was developed in close consultation with the shelter’s staff.
