The President Mrs Nimnuan Walters has lead the heart warming project to ensure the brighter generation of Thailand are being cared for and do not get left be-hide during one of the biggest challenges of our generation.... We are Thai that stick together and help each other out, no matter the circumstances. The survival kit it a small thing to keep us together. 22.01.2022 #Survival_Kit: Phase #2 Continuation of Surviving Bag Project initiated by The Royal Thai Embassy , today NTTA has organized Phase II and provided survival bags to students and residences affected by job lost due to COVID-19 in NT. Total 16 people. During this tough time, supporting each other’s who are in need and help us through #Covid19.... NTTA would like to thank you all for the generous donations from our members. 15.01.2022 On Sunday 25th October 2020, the NT Thai Association was holding a food stall in the Mango Madness Festival in order to raise fund through the mango-inspired menu using various species of mangoes from "Tou's Garden". The event was held at the Darwin Waterfront and was hosted by the Northern Territory Mango Industry Association Inc where Tourism Authority of Thailand was also a Silver Sponsor. Our mango-inspired menu included Mango with Sticky Rice, Mango Smoothies, Mango Je...lly, Green Mango Salad, Mango Panna Cotta, Dried Mango as well as the butter sweet buns. We, the NTTA committee would like to thank our members and volunteers who tirelessly sacrificed their precious time to cook, prepare, sell, and bought the food, as well as, helps in logistics and other operations. Dr Narumon Sriratanvirigakul AKA Cherry " Dr Narumon Sriratanaviriyakul (Cherry) is an academic who believes that lifelong education is for everyone. Before joining Charles Darwin University as a lecturer in IT Discipline, College of Engineering, IT and Environment, Cherry was Senior Lecturer at RMIT University Vietnam for 9 years and wa...s responsible for developing several new programs including Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management using her prior experience from teaching and developing curriculum for Mahidol University International College and Ubon Rajathanee University, Thailand. Cherry has always been very proud and passionate about Thailand and its culture. She received American Field Services (AFS) scholarships to be an exchange student twice to New Zealand in 1994 and United States in 1996 to show New Zealanders and Americans what Thai language, culture, customs and other characteristics was. Prior to her career in teaching, she kickstarted her professional life as Marketing Coordinator at Pacific Leisure (Thailand) in studying and developing campaigns to promote many exotic destinations such as Macau, Munich, Tahiti, Palau, etc. She also acted as Cultural Representative from Thailand at Walt Disney World Resort, Florida as part of Disney’s theme to allow people to travel around the world in one day to celebrate the new millennium of 2000 during 1999 to 2000. Cherry started her IT career pathway through working at KSC Commercial Internet during 2002-2005 in Business Solutions Department to design and customize the Internet package to suit special needs for various organizations and institutions, as well as, acting as Assistant Secretary General in the board of committee for the Computer Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King. Cherry earned a Doctor of Philosophy from Charles Darwin University, a Master of Science (Internet & E-Commerce Technology) from Assumption University where she received Outstanding Alumni Award, Rector’s Award for Academic Excellence, and Srisakdi Charmonman Trophy, and a Bachelor of Art degree in Travel Industry Management from Mahidol University International College." Ms. Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador-designate led members of Team Thailand in Canberra, the Embassy’s officials and staffs in a volu...nteer activity inspired by the Royal Initiative Volunteer Projects in donating rice, food and other necessities to Mr. Trevor Gilbertson (Manager, Clothing and Retail) and Ms.Catherine Adcock, Volunteer Coordinator, representatives from a local charity organization called Communities @ Work. All the donations will be distributed to homeless persons, women, youth and those in need residing in Canberra and nearby areas.
