17.01.2022 Congratulations to John Goninon who has won the February Pride in Your Place award, the monthly Territory Families, Housing and Communities award that recognise...s public housing tenants who look after their home and yard with exceptional care. John's banana and pawpaw trees were a highlight in his impressive Palmerston garden. Each week I spend anywhere between twelve to twenty hours on my garden. My favourite part of the garden is sitting underneath the banana trees because they are nice and shady when the sun is out." said John. John said he would use his Bunnings voucher to buy potting-mix, fertiliser, and more plants. He had a special visitor too his dad and former champion Geelong Cats forward George Goninon. Being a Cats fan it was a treat to meet the 1951 and 1952 premiership player.
