12.01.2022 The club is seeking expressions of interest for the Senior Coaching Role in 2021/22 season and beyond. In season 20/21 the club had 4 senior teams competing in ...the Cricket Albury Wodonga Competition, each of the teams playing in turf competitions and making the finals, numbers already look promising for next season. We are proud to be a destination club with a strong respect for our 150-year history. We offer an excellent junior pathway. Our under 16 team are the reigning premiers, the u14 Division 1 side had a strong season and were beaten in the grand final as well as having a second u14 side and two u12 teams. Our club is littered with a long list of talented junior cricketers who have great potential and are keen to improve their skills and play cricket at the highest standard. We also offer a Region Leading Blaster program an All-Abilities program along with a Veterans team and a view to compliment all of this with female teams. The position will suit someone that will embrace the strength of our history, culture, passion & values who will complement and advance the club with their own enthusiasm, structure, and personality by implementing a holistic senior cricket program with the ability to draw on the experience of, and working with the current coaching panel, captains, and club committee. The Club has great facilities; 2 turf grounds, a quality 4 lane synthetic fully equipped practice facility and soon to be completed female friendly pavilion. Remuneration to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Expressions close April 30, 2021 and can be emailed to [email protected] Key selection criteria: o Effective communication with all club members, umpires, opposing teams and media. o Proven ability & experience to coach o Relationship building and stakeholder engagement. o Develop high-performance culture and lead by example. o Strong knowledge of game strategies o Ability to identify & develop talent. o Structured individual coaching and match day coaching o Driven to advance the club to the next level. o Level 1 or Level 2 coaching qualification(desirable) o Excellent time management
