18.01.2022 Northern Tasmanian Netball Association Return to Training - APPROVED!! It is with excitement we let you all know that we have had our Return to Training Plan approved by the Launceston City Council. We thank you for your patience while we worked through the plans and protocols that have been put in place for the health and safety of our netball community. Netball Tasmania have provided support and direction in these unprecedented times which has been a huge help. As part of ...our plan we are going to need to stagger start and finish times for training. Social-distancing and hygiene habits are the new normal and we need time to ensure our Return to Training plan and the associated processes are implemented and understood by all. All Clubs training at Hoblers Bridge Courts will be communicated with by the NTNA, and what they will need to do before, during and after training. Please be in contact if you need any clarification. We will also communicate a number of things that we would like everyone to be aware of in readiness for training - we will stage this so as not to bombard you and to ensure you have time to understand it all. To begin with, we want to encourage you to download and use the COVIDSafe App as well as be aware that only people directly involved in training (players, coaches and our approved Officers for Social Distancing and Hygiene) are able to be around our facility and grounds during training at the moment. It is important to remember that this exciting step is in regard to return to training only and that return to competition is being worked through. Our intention is to provide Clubs with information regarding both midweek and junior competitions next week. Netball in 2020 will be very different compared to previous seasons. Expectations need to be managed and we all need to be prepared for a different 2020 season. We cant wait to see your faces back training and playing netball - the game we love.
