Tomorrow we start our new training Cycle, this is our peak cycle! 9 weeks of work like you never have before! - What makes a program successful...one you stick to and follow! We offer 3 levels of programming. - Performance - This is designed for athletes in the sport of functional fitness and CF training 6 days per week with multiple sessions per day! $40PM Weightlifting - This program is for Olympic Weightlifters and has 5 days per week of training aswell as accessories program! $40PM Premium Performance & Athlete Development - This program is complete individualized for 5-6 sessions per week focused on your goals, level and sport, you will have a 1 on 1 development/consultation video call at the start of each month or a session @ntrsperformancehq , aswell as weekly feedback and video analysis! $120PM - One of our Premium Performance Athletes @al.joyce is currently rebuilding through a injury, which gives us a great opportunity to to work on weaknesses and completely rebuild the body! After just coming off a major strength block it's time to start dialing in competition mode, this means our focus shifts to aerobic capacity, and competition style workouts. There is still going to be lots of skill work and functional bodybuilding to keep the body moving well and primed to perform! -... 15.01.2022 Peak! - Who's ready to peak out this week in our performance program, some nice big conditioning pieces, 2RM front and back squat testing and 1RM power snatch and power clean & jerk, and to top it off we have some nasty little metcons l! -... This is the last week of this cycle before we hit our next 9 week training block which is going to be of of our most intense to date! With most Sanctionals cancelled we will use this next block as a prep leading into our own online 2day simulation comp(if you can get to Hobart you can do it at our box with us). 14.01.2022 This week is about finding those dark places! - Who's ready for a monster week of training? This week is about testing yourself, not on weight but on your mental toughness. This week is full of workouts to not just physically push you but mentally take you in a really dark place, a place where we grow, a place where we find out what type of athlete we are! -... Heres a small piece from tomorrows program just to give you a taste! - For Time Part A 10-1 Dual DB Devils Press 22.5kg/15kg *Between each set is a 200m Run (Assault Air Runner) 4 Mins Rest Part B 1km Bike Erg/Assault BIke 100 DU 800m Bike Erg/Assault BIke 80 DU 600m Bike Erg/Assault BIke 60 DU 400m Bike Erg/Assault BIke 40 DU 200m Bike Erg/Assault BIke 20 DU. - In Part A you will complete 10 devils press then into a 200m run, 9DP 200m etc. Push hard on the devils press. If you have access to a Assault Air Runner use that as first choice if not just do it as a 200m run. In Part B if you have access to a bike erg use that as first choice if not use a Assault bike this will change the timing by 3-5mins! 08.01.2022 Snatch Positions! - We love using this complex to focus on positions in the snatch! Snatch Pull+ Hang Snatch+ OH Squat some key points you want to focus on is staying over the bar in the pull, using your legs and not your back and finishing tall and upright a great que is traps to ears and head to ceiling. This will help you finish the pull and not allow the bar to travel away from the body. If the bar is bouncing away from the body it's time to go back to the broom...stick! FINISH THE PULL! This creates more time for you to pull under the bar, are you one of those people who can only power snatch! - If you ever here someone say "you just pull and hope for the best".....get out fast!!! - The snatch is about putting the bar where you want it, you are in complete control it's not in control of you!
