Get your submissions in about your mums, lots of prizes t...o give away :-) My Mãe (mum) my survivor. My mum fled East Timor when the Indonesians invaded. After this she made her way to Australia from Portugal . Mãe slowly brought her brothers over and made Australia home. Mum had 4 children 1 boy 3 girls....then mum was diagnosed with breast Cancer. This shock the family...but my Mãe is strong. She fought for her right to live! 2 years ago I got engaged then married 8 months later. My Mãe walked me down the aisle, gave me away and we had a Mother daughter Dance. That turned into a, mother, sister, Aunty and granddaughter dance and made almost everyone at the wedding cry. My father and I no longer talk although mum always kept my heart full. Mum lost her father to a heart attack when she was only 10 months old. Mum has always told us to dream high. She has always encouraged us to do what we wanted. My mum is my hero
