25.01.2022 Working on a mack truck with a c15 replaced the starter motor fixed a couple oil leaks ready for its night duties

24.01.2022 Nice long bonnet Coronado in for some love no cruise control working, engine valve adjustment new air dryer filter and governor valve, dash out all done in a day and ready for its next big trip.

23.01.2022 Unfortunately turbo broke down last Friday at port Kembla in the rain with a loaded set of trailers, we drove out and tried our best to get him going but unfortunately the throwout bearing on the clutch gave way and the clutch couldnt slow the input shaft down therefore he couldnt get a drive gear. With our socks and boots full of water due to the heavy rain we un hooked his trailer got another truck to take the trailer to a safe spot and moved the prime mover to a safe spo...t aswell ready to get towed. Packed up all the soaking wet weather gear and drove turbo home. Im only 1 guy and hope to expand at the end of the year but Im pleased to say we got his truck turned around in a week new clutch new eca new input shaft all genuine Eaton no after market parts. Checked on turbo today hes been through the ringer the past few months but Im glad we got his new argosy sorted. Big thanks to @diesel lab for helping push the box in and pmhvr for the space it was much appreciated.

22.01.2022 Fresh 5 core radiator going into a 4800 star this is a top of the line radiator with this new enhanced radiator the customer will be saving on fuel because the fan wont be cutting in as much. A detroit engine can suffer 60 horsepower at the rear wheels loss everytime that fan kicks in making the engine use more fuel to get up that hill or while coasting down the highway

21.01.2022 First service on this beautiful argosy with a dd15, repaired a couple oil leaks on it thru shaft seal leaking oil coolant module leaking. Coolant leak from the egr actuator.

20.01.2022 The mbe 4000 completed and running perfect after we replaced 2 cracked cylinder heads and 6 head gaskets lots of tricks and hurdles in this model engine but in the end we got the customer back on the road ready to work on the weekend. Big thanks to HEAVY TRUCKN MECHANICAL for lending NU-TECH space to carry out this job.

08.01.2022 Back on track today with a more positive attitude my brother in law broke down today at walgrove Rd blown turbo. Had him sorted today fitting a new garret turbo, removed the intercooler cleaned every boost hose and air filter hose fit new air filters, followed him to his first load to make sure everything was ok. I just wanna thank the people who went out of there way today to help me it means a lot. Just wanna thank every person who called me to check on me also you guys are absolutely legends.

07.01.2022 Service on another immaculate argosy then off to Lithgow to diagnose a overheating issue on a Coronado after checking sensors we found a 25 degree temperature difference between each coolant temp sensor with our large stock of Detroit parts the truck was able to work today without shutting down.

So how is it ok to not pay the mechanic that busted his ass laying under dirty trucks how is this not counted as stealing. There is next to fuck all rights for small businesses so Im making it official for all my customers all jobs will be invoiced in front of you and payment will be made on the day. ... Im sorry for all my customers that have been great Im always here for you but Im not going broke so your trucks can keep running.

03.01.2022 Finished off the 4800 Put a new exhaust manifold on due to cracks in the centre and the bellows breaking which would of caused a turbo failure. To top it off we added some new thermal shields to keep the heat in the turbo and out of the engine bay

03.01.2022 New egr actuator fitted on the 4900 that started it all for NUTECH. broke down in Melbourne because it was leaking coolant out the welsh plug in the actuator spent 2 hours on the phone with the owner talked him through the removal of the actuator and off to an automotive store to get some jb weld a few swear words and the actuator was fitted. The owner then travelled to Sydney and instantly we had a new actuator fitted and a coolant change ready for work on Monday. Be humble be respectful and enjoy every minute of making horsepower!!!

This is a k104b we carried out a complete engine swap it’s been a awesome and exciting build today she worked a full day with no issues.
