24.01.2022 A day to celebrate all the inspirational father figures in our lives

23.01.2022 Dear Patients and Families, We hope you have been well. We have some good news. Following the latest advice from the government and health authorities, our practice will reopen on Monday 27 April 2020. There are still some restrictions regarding the types of procedures we can perform, however we are able to start seeing patients again and we will be in touch with you as soon as possible to schedule an appointment.... We will prioritise patients that missed their appointments and also patients requiring urgent attention. We kindly ask for your patience at this time as we do our best to contact patients as quickly as we can. Your health and safety is of the utmost importance to us and we will continue to operate with additional precautionary measures to best protect you and our staff. We ask that when visiting our practice, please observe the health and safety information displayed and follow the directions of practice staff. If you have any questions or concerns or an urgent need prior to your appointment, please contact us via phone on 9807 1655 or email [email protected] Thank you for your understanding and support. We look forward to seeing you very soon. Yours sincerely, Dr Andy TJ Wu and team at Nu Angle Orthodontics

16.01.2022 Dear Patients & Families, We would like to inform you that Nu Angle Orthodontics will temporarily postpone all routine orthodontic treatment from 28 March 2020 until further notice. Our number one priority is to protect our patients, our staff and the wider community against the spread of COVID-19. We are deeply concerned as NSW has the highest number of COVID-19 cases in Australia. We believe we all have a vital role to play in helping to prevent further spread of COVID-1...9 and to flatten the curve. Now is the time to take firm action. We are listening to the advice from the Australian Federal and NSW Governments, Australian Society of Orthodontists and the Australian Dental Association, which have advised that we should immediately minimise all routine (non urgent) dental care. Orthodontics is an essential service for oral health. However, aspects of what we do are non essential. In dentistry and orthodontics there is a risk of both transmitting and catching COVID-19. We work in close proximity to our patients and some of our procedures require high-speed instruments that cause aerosol (droplets in the air) creating a higher risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus. In addition, given the Government’s recent restrictive social distancing measures, we as a team have decided to temporarily close our practice at Nu Angle Orthodontics in both Ryde and Lindfield. How will this impact our patients and their treatment? We at Nu Angle Orthodontics are prepared. Treatment will be provided with strict adherence to ADA guidelines in terms of additional infection control procedures and measures to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission. We will continue to provide essential orthodontics services. This means we will see emergency patients only. If you are in pain, have breakages or trauma please call or email us. Please be assured there is no harm in temporarily delaying your next routine orthodontic appointment. In the meantime, remember to keep up the good oral hygiene. Our team is working remotely to answer your calls and respond to emails. Dr Andy Wu will attend to emergencies by appointment only. Appointments and reschedules will be booked once we reopen. If you have any questions or emergencies please contact us by: Phone - Monday to Friday between 9am 5pm Shelly on 0467 587 730 or Antonella on 0476 894 862 Email - [email protected] (Please email us, should we not be available via telephone) We are monitoring our decision and this evolving situation and we will keep you informed of any changes. We thank you for your understanding and support. Please take care of yourselves and each other. Lets help and stop the spread of COVID-19. Yours sincerely, Dr Andy TJ Wu and team at Nu Angle Orthodontics
