22.01.2022 SA Health's Virtual Welcome to Country The need to move to a virtual event has proved the perfect opportunity to re-evaluate how we communicate the spiritual connection between Australia’s first people and country. Traditionally presented by a live speaker, SA Health chose to adapt how they would present their Welcome to Country message based on the fact that their annual conference would be conducted virtually.... Working in close conversation with Kaurna artists and storytellers, Nucleus was honored by the opportunity to create an emotive piece that could connect with audiences in a deep and real way. Collaborating with Jack Buckskin (Kuma Kaaru), Kaurna artist Shane Mankitya Cook, and the incredibly supportive team from SA Health, Nucleus were able to create a Welcome to Country story that resonated in a meaningful way with conference attendees and SA Health staff.
