25.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who made the 2020 Annual Memorial Mass so special on Saturday. This event is arguably the most important event on the NCOBA calendar, and even more so this year. The Mass saw over 120 attendees over two venues (the Chapel and Ryan Hall) and in the Rose Garden, plus over 130 viewers tuned in via live stream. A COVID-safe event saw many changes, such as multiple venues, but we gathered together as one community. Brody Grogan Photography

24.01.2022 It was a wonderful day yesterday at Virgina Golf Club for the Annual Old Boys' Golf Championships. The winner for the day was one of our most senior Old Boys, Mr John Gallagher (NC 1957). It was great to see such a broad range of men spanning the decades of 10,000 brothers.
24.01.2022 This afternoon the 2021 Nudgee College Captains, Vice Captains and Prefects were announced and celebrated. Congratulations to all the nominated leaders, especially College Captain Leo De Clara (son of Danny De Clara NC 1988), Vice Captain Identity Chad Oehlman, Vice Captain Studies Xavier Roati (son of Alex Roati NC 1984), Vice Captain Community & Boarding Basil Nolan (son of the late Basil Nolan NC 1991), Vice Captain Arts Morgan Chippendale and Vice Captain Sport Doug Gemmel.

18.01.2022 Last Thursday evening, the NCOBA held it's Annual General Meeting and paired it with the End of Year Dinner. College Board Chair, Br Damien Price and Dean of Students, Mr Peter Todd were in attendance on behalf of the school. Congratulations to the 2021 NCOBA Executive Mr Hugh Hamilton (President), Mr Andrew McNamara (Vice-President), Mr Tony Gleeson (Secretary) and Mr Doug Carrigan (Treasurer).

You have to make the selection for the best ever Nudgee 1st XV players of the last 50 years ( starting from the 1970 team), and allocate them into your Ultimate Nudgee First XV Team. 06.01.2022 Yesterday we were shocked to receive the news that Ms Bridie O’Dea had passed away. Bridie had courageously battled cancer for the past two years. Sadly, her he...alth took a dramatic turn for the worst over the weekend and she passed away suddenly at the Royal Brisbane Hospital on Wednesday 11 November. Bridie was an inspiring and much loved Maths teacher. She was a great friend and colleague to many on the staff. Bridie worked at Nudgee College since 2006. Beyond her Maths teaching, she was an evening tutor in Boarding as well as a tutor in the Indigenous Education program. She was a member of Ross House and also served as the Hodda Assistant Head of Boarding House. In October 2015, she was promoted to the position of Director of Administration on the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This is an important role which manages day-to-day class operations, school and exam timetables, as well as teacher allocations. It is a vital role in the effective operation of a large school such as ours. Bridie performed these difficult duties with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail. And always with a gentle smile. Bridie’s family reside in Victoria, which has added complexity to this very sad occurrence. Please keep Bridie, her family and her dear friends on staff in your prayers. May she rest in peace. 05.01.2022 It was a fantastic festival atmosphere for the Young Alumni Welcome Lunch today. This is a casual event welcoming the 2020 Seniors into the NCOBA over a complimentary lunch, with music provided by rock bands 1-4. Thank you to NCOBA Executive member, Aldo Varricchio, for welcoming the boys to the NCOBA (including his own son, Oscar).
