They have $100M put aside for this. 06.01.2022 Update on Facebook Messenger Blocks Mike Yang (the CEO of ManyChat) ran a live earlier to discuss the issue of Page Blocks. The difficultly is a lot of the blocks are warranted, however, there are also a lot that are not.... Please make sure you are completely aware of what you can and cannot do. ManyChat have written a (long) post about this, which has been given the green tick of approval from Facebook. Here's the link to the post: https://manychat.com//an-updated-guide-to-facebooks-24-ho/ MESSAGE TAGS If you are using the Message Tags, use them correctly. One example Mike gave was someone using the POST PURCHASE UPDATE TAG, you can use this to send a payment confirmation BUT you cannot then add an upsell option. (If you want to do this you need to get them to take an action first, eg click a button) ONE TIME NOTIFICATIONS (OTNs) Again when you use a OTN please ensure you use it correctly. This means naming the OTN and including that wording in the message you send. Just because someone opts in to a OTN does not mean you can then just randomly send them a message about something. It must be specific to the OTN they opted in for. If you do receive an unwarranted block, ManyChat has created a Google Doc so they can also take your case up with Facebook, and you are given the opportunity to appeal. Even if it is a 1 day block please appeal. As an example, we recently received a 1-day block on a page that doesn't even send messages outside the 24-hour window. We sent the information to ManyChat and appealed with Facebook. It's important to have it on record that you disagree with their ruling. NOT SURE IF YOU'RE COMPLIANT If you're not sure if you are using the platform correctly, please reach out with your use case. It's far better to ask the questions now, rather than facing the consequences.

My takeaways, yes you should be marketing BUT do so 'reading the room' (I love this concept); stop any purely self-promotional marketing;... if you're about to launch make sure it is highly relevant to the current client (and if you can wait then do); and now more than ever it's imperative you know your audience.
