16.01.2022 I use trot poles alot, once my horse can circle with nice forwards, I start to add poles and then height to the poles. Superman (my husband) is happy to make you a set of pole risers if you like $50 for 10 (5 sets) or feel free to copy design for yourself if you or someone can make them for you

11.01.2022 Teaching sideways is always a priority for me (after backup and the go button) as the easier you can shift the ribs the easier you can keep your horse in banana shape while riding This is her 2nd ride in the saddle with sideways and 2 goes bareback, she has done a bit also on the ground.

11.01.2022 Over the next few posts we will look at some of the obstacles. Today we take a look at the Bell Corridor obstacle number 10. This obstacle consists of a corri...dor approximately 3m in length and 1.5m wide. The sides of the corridor should be around 50cm high. At the end of the corridor is a bell placed about 175cm from the ground. The rider enters the corridor, halts* at the bell, rings the bell and performs rein back to exit the corridor at the initial entry point. At level 5, rider not required to rein back out the corridor. At level 4, rider performs between 2 and 5 backward steps then rides forward out the front of the corridor. At level 2 an above, the corridor may be in an L shape. *Halt is not required in the Speed and Accuracy phase.
