08.01.2022 The campers have arrived home very healthy and happy at 3-30 today. Our school community is very grateful to Mrs Lynley Neill, Miss Demi Barker and Mr Steven White for taking on the responsibility for caring for the campers for this week. Thank you Whitey for driving the bus so safely, he had to contend with trying to concentrate for many hours with noisy and sometimes 'smelly' passengers and got everyone there and back safely. Mrs Neill took on the role as teacher in charge ...and took responsibility to ensure that all children were well cared for and supported. For some kids it was their first time away from home. We talked Miss Barker into going along to be extra support and despite being dunked in the river a few times she came home with a smile on her face. Camps require a lots from the staff who agree to attend with the children. The benefits to the kids are immeasurable. I hope you are enjoying sharing the camp stories with your children. See more

07.01.2022 Good Morning. Our Year 6 camp crew had a great day yesterday. They went for a 6km bush walk and then spent the afternoon building rafts and canoeing. Last night they had a games night. I bet they all slept well last night.

06.01.2022 Our campers are having a great time. Today the focus is on team games. It looks as though it is cold and wet in Pemberton but Mrs Neill says that there have been lots of smiles and laughter.

03.01.2022 Wheels for LyLah: We enjoyed our day thinking about our Lylah. The students dressed up and participated in a fashion parade. They enjoyed showing off and riding their decorated scooters, bikes and skateboards and playing giant games at lunchtime, finishing the day with a disco and movie. Darby had the very hard decision of selecting the best dressed. He chose the students he thought Lylah would love the most! A huge thanks to Debbie Black for organising the lunch orders and ...our amazing P&C Emma, Janie and Tarina who helped Deb cook the sausage sizzle. A special thanks to ‘Friends of Makaila’ for their generous donation of prizes and Shane Tobin and Sarah for loaning us the giant games. Thanks Miss Snell for helping Darby choose the best decorated wheels and delivering Lylah all the money raised today ($736) and the garland of balloons. Thanks Miss Gallon for hosting the disco and Mrs Jeitz for the movie. See more
