23.01.2022 Wednesday 15th January (tonight) kicks off our first Ukulele session for 2020. We look forward to seeing all the members back and welcome anyone new interested in learning to play the ukulele and joining our group to come along!! Where: Numurkah Community Learning Centre... Time: 7pm

22.01.2022 A few days ago we asked the internet to stop misery scrolling for a moment, and to sing with us! Over 1000 people from 18 countries submitted a video of their p...erformance of Close To You (Burt Bacharach) in just TWO DAYS. Every submission that we successfully received was manually added to the collective. And then we saw the magic unfold Plug in those earphones and turn this up! We can’t adequately express in words what a gift your videos were to us. Each was like unwrapping a beautiful, personal, virtual hug. Thanks for trusting us with your voices, and for sharing your lives with us for a few minutes. We really hope the result gives you something to smile about. 21.01.2022 Hi fellow uke enthusiasts. After some deliberation we decided that there will be NO ukulele sessions for our club for the next 3 weeks. This is a precautionary measure to not unnecessarely compromise anyone's immune system in light of the COVID-19/Corona virus. We will reassess then and keep you informed. Keep strumming though and remember, ukuleles strenghten your soul

Beechworth Ukulele Weekends will be combining with the Beechworth Golden Horseshoe...s Festival over the Easter long weekend, April 11 & 12 - it'll be a massive weekend in town! Ukulele events include: * Saturday morning, Sing & Strum workshop in the Town Hall, learning songs in 2-4 part harmony for the Parade and Sunday morning's Rotunda session * Sing For Freedom in the Courthouse, Saturday afternoon, free and open to general public * Sunday morning, Ukulele Singalong Session, Town Hall Gardens Gold coin donation for the indoor events.
