25.01.2022 Fantastic split pass from Jake Brimmer ( ex Nunawading City junior ) which lead to a goal last night in the A-league elimination final against Wellington Phoenix FC . Perth Glory FC won the match 1-0 . Thank you to David Davutovic for act knowledging Jake and sharing with the fans his pathway and journey to-date . We are ecstatic for Jake and his team , keep going and best wishes in the A-league finals.

24.01.2022 NEW APPOINTMENT: SEAN DOUGLAS - U19’s Boys Head Coach 2021. Nunawading City FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Sean Douglas to our senior department player pathway team of coaches , leading our U19 boys team in season 2021 .... Sean holds an AFC/FFA Pro Diploma, but also has a passion for continual learning, which has included a Masters of Coaching (University of Queensland), and training as a Master Coach Developer through the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE) Coach Developer Academy. Sean has been involved in Coach Development for over 13 years, helping coaches / organisations in different countries and sports. Sean has a playing background at a professional and international level, having represented New Zealand at 24 internationals and has coached at ‘national league’ level, and with various international age group teams. Sean also held the role at Football Federation Australia as the National Coach Development Manager for several years,leading coach and player education within Australia. Sean also brings with him his assistant Mul Handoyo. NunawadingCity FC welcomes both Sean and Mul to this exciting era at our club , collaborating closely with the clubs lead and NPL Senior coach Fahid Ben Khalfallah, Goal keeper coach and 5 times gold medal winner and now U20 Australia national team goal keeper - Michael Theo and U21 Head Coach (Kay Kay) Karamo Kamara, Sean and Mul addition now completes our senior department group of coaches. Despite Sean experience at a high level, Sean highlights working (early in his coaching career) as a full-time coach in a community club, coaching 12 sessions every week from U9’s to Seniors, as his best learning moments.

23.01.2022 In these challenging times all our Miniroo players are taking part in a 10 level PTA juggling challenge provided by ex Argentinian and ex A-league professional player Marcos Flores. Congratulations to 8 year old Ari in completing the final level 10 Nunawading City FC PTA juggling challenge. In this challenge Ari had to make his own ball and then juggle it alternating feet for 20 times . ... You can achieve anything with excellent technique and hard work . Awesome achievement

23.01.2022 Nunawading City FC - NEW APPOINTMENT - NPL U21 coach - Karamo Kamara ( Kay Kay ) . NunawadingCity FC welcomes ex-senior footballer to our club , joining our senior department coaching team in season 2021. Originally from Brisbane, Queensland , Kay Kay was part of the Brisbane Roar Youth System. Having played in NPL NSW with Bonnyrigg Whites Eagles and Marconi Stallions FC. ... In 2017 won the NPL Queensland Men competition with Western Pride FC before moving to Nunawading City in 2018. Also skilled as a youth worker, an educator, and currently completed a Bachelor of Physical Education and Sport Science at Victoria University. Kay Kay will be working closely with the senior and u19 coaches to allow us to be able to deliver an high performance , effective player centred training program for players to aspire and enjoy in their youth development pathway journey. 19.01.2022 On our last training practice at Nunawading City FC 2020 , Monday 21st of December, we were honoured to have Brazilian World Cup 2006 and FIFA World Club Champion San Paulo , professional footballer Mineiro who visit us to pass on his wisdom and best wishes to all our juniors and coaching staff.
