25.01.2022 We loved joining together for our first Family Worship via Zoom I pray for a better understanding of 2020. Lets recognise, God hasnt lost His glasses at all. He hasnt left us alone. Hes not unaware and aloof of our earthly trials and tribulations. He is in fact offering, as He always does, a chance for us afresh to receive a new set of glasses to view the world through. Wont you take a look today through His lenses? Read more from Mr Martin Kutschkers message... on our website: https://nunawading.vic.edu.au/blog/2020/08/27/gods-glasses/ #2020vision #lifeatNCC

17.01.2022 Our spiritual theme this year is 20/20 Vision: Seeing with God’s Eyes. C.S. Lewis, in his book Prince Caspian, wrote about the children daring to follow Aslan into the unknown. Lucy was the bravest, because She fixed her eyes on Aslan and the rest had their eyes on Lucy. We have been encouraging our students to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus and on seeing through His eyes. In Art, our students created vision boards, depicting How God Sees Me. As ...these are displayed in homes, we hope they are a reminder to our students and families that we are loved and fully known by God. #2020vision #lifeatNCC See more

16.01.2022 Our Year 1 students are authors of their own 'Mr Men' and 'Little Miss' books! After developing creative ideas, they wrote their stories and illustrated their pages. 14.01.2022 Even in the Winter. I am your God and you are mine. I make a way, when there is no way. I am the God of solutions.... I am the God who restores. I care about the details in your life, The intricate, delicate, sensitive details. I have a way to show you how to respond to these intricate details. I bring forth love, where it looks like there is none. Know this, where you see even death, I see a momentary rest. The winter tree looks lifeless And yet it joyfully brings forth new life, Even before winter ends. This, I will do for you, I am the God who brings restoration, Before a season has ended. I will remind you of my specific and detailed love for you. Look for it and I will show you over and over again, For eternity. -Mrs Kate Pincheira (Photo taken on campus) #lifeatNCC See more

14.01.2022 If ever there was one spiritual song that sums up this year, it is ‘The Blessing’ by Cody Carnes and Kari Jobe. This song is based on Numbers 6:24-26 which states: The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you... and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. Throughout this year, we have seen how God has blessed our school. Our numbers have increased despite the economic downturn in the economy. Our students have continued to learn despite the challenges of online learning. Our teachers and staff have found great strength in trusting God to see us through the year. As an NCC community, our ELC, Primary and Secondary staff and students have come together to sing this blessing for our community. This collaboration during COVID has been a challenge, but reminds us of what we can achieve when we come together as a community. May the words of this song wash over you as you join us in reflecting on how God has blessed us. - Ms Meggan James, Nunawading Christian College Principal #lifeatNCC #christianschool #blessed

13.01.2022 As the time of the annual NCC Cambodia trip approaches, Year 10 students would have been preparing to fly to Cambodia, but instead, they're running! #runforcambodia Our students have organised a different way to support Light of Hope Cambodia - fundraising through running, riding and walking. Mrs Pillai takes comfort in Jeremiah 29:11. She believes it was God's plan to bring her to teach at NCC. While here, her relationship with Jesus has only grown and her decision to be baptised was influenced by the spiritual people she met at NCC. #teachersofNCC #lifeatNCC See more

08.01.2022 A chilly start on campus, before the sun came out! Listen, you heavens, and I will speak; hear, you earth, the words of my mouth. Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants. I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh, praise the greatness of our God! He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he. 07.01.2022 Mrs Santiago was our next interviewee in Chapel. Students even got to meet her dog, Willow Mrs Santiago's spiritual hero is her Nanna, who prayed for her every day and lived a life that was clearly different because of her faith. This encouraged Mrs Santiago towards God. Matthew 5:13-16 "You are salt... and light..." is Mrs Santiago's favourite verse. It reminds her of her Nanna and of how we should be loving others and sharing God's word.... #teachersofNCC #lifeatNCC See more
