25.01.2022 Following Government Coronavirus (COVID-19) social distancing guidelines the Nundle Parents and Citizens Association has postponed the 2020 Great Nundle Dog Race, that was to be held on Sunday, May 3rd, to Sunday, October 25th.

23.01.2022 You might remember Warrnambool's famous wombat, 'Gutsy'. The mural just appeared one day under a bridge and it had the whole town fascinated. Local artist Jim...mi Buscombe had drawn it in chalk, with the intention of letting it wash away in the rain. But he hadn't reckoned on another local legend, Phil who liked the wombat so much he varnished over it and made it permanent. Before Jimmi's wombat became the talk of Warrnambool, he'd entered our Pick My Project initiative. Victorians loved his work and now he's getting funding to do more. Onya Jimmi. 17.01.2022 Would you like to do something special with your Mum this Mother’s Day? How about a virtual workshop? So I’ve had a few people say that they are sad, that there... won’t be a Mother’s Day Kokedama workshop this year. After zooming with friends I thought why not try a virtual workshop. I would send you a DIY pack and then you would join us virtually where I would coach you through making your own kokedama. This means unlike other years, location isn’t a barrier, if you’re in Newcastle, Walcha, Gunnadah, Armidale or even the same town but isolating you could still spend Mother’s Day doing something special together - only virtually of course. It would be $60 for local people including one plant and all the materials you need to make a Kokedama. The diy packs have enough moss, string etc to make extras after. If you’re not local to Tamworth and I’m posting the pack, you would have to BYO a plant and it would be $55 including postage. If you’re interested comment below or inbox me to let me know. If there’s enough people interested I will post a link to book I could also host one pre Mother’s Day workshop for anyone that wants to create their own Mother’s Day gifts.
