25.01.2022 Its funny how things happen. Chris and I were chatting last week wondering what had happened to Nungarra Capriole as we had lost contact with him a few years ago. On Sunday, we received an email from a woman in Western Australia saying that she had recently purchased him! To quote, He is a super horse with an outstanding temperament. Just what every breeder would want to hear. Having started his competition life in the show jumping arena, he is now competing in WA, under t...he name Bamboo Textiles Roulette, at 1* Eventing, with a move up to 2* with a few more runs. His new owner said that is is doubtful there will be any competition in WA until next year so they have a little time to practice! 24.01.2022 Nungarra Royal Order (aka Rueben) and owner/rider Laura Hoffman participated in the second weekend of the ASPR dressage competition at Elmore this weekend. Having taken out Level 3 Championship and pointing up to Level 2 on the first weekend of the series, this weekend they took home Level 2 Reserve Champion. 23.01.2022 More news of Nungarra LuLu. In her second outing LuLu and her rider Sarah Wyatt managed to qualify for the SA Dressage Championships at Mt Crawford in May. Sarah said the first test didnt go quite to plan but they still managed 2nd place with a score of 66%. In the second test LuLu had her mind more on the job, winning the test with a terrific score of 76%. Congratulations Sarah and LuLu.

23.01.2022 Kylie Calderwood and Nungarra Furst Class had a very successful day out at Jindera Dressage Championship yesterday gaining 75% in one test and overall Novice Champion. Way to go Kylie!

16.01.2022 Kylie Calderwood and Nungarra Furst Class had a crack at their first Novice today at the WVDC EA comp. Despite a few little mistakes Kylie said he felt super. 67% in both tests (2nd & 3rd) for equal Reserve Champion. Great to hear of more great outings for our youngsters.

16.01.2022 We received an email today. The contents is such a great story and ultimately very exciting. Danielle gave us permission to publish the full contents. So ..... Hi Deb, I have owned Nungarra Bonfire (Jules) for around 8 months. I was very fortunate to be able to purchase her from Tracy Lee with the goal of riding Para-Equestrian. Unfortunately, I had a terrible MS relapse last year and Jules had an unplanned holiday. When I was able to get on her again, I could only slowly ...walk around on a long rein. God bless that horse because she was so good and turned into an old pony clubber just for me during that time. Jules is a fantastic mare that I honestly cant fault. She has a beautiful temperament, three great paces, so trainable and just takes everything in her stride. I think she will make a great Para horse. Last weekend, I was finally able to attend my first Para-equestrian clinic with Julia Battams at Balmoral Equestrian Centre. We had a great weekend, and Jules had never received so many compliments in her life. All the coaches loved her! We had so much fun, but the highlight of the weekend was being told by the coaches that Jules and I were good enough to train for the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo! There are some awesome, talented and hard working para riders and horses out there that will be well-deserving for a spot in the Australian team. All I can say is that I am going to give it my best shot by training and working hard over the next two years, hoping my health stays stable, Jules stays well and that the stars may just align for us. Thank you for breeding such a beautiful, quality mare that is a pleasure to own and train. We just love her! Danielle Turner

13.01.2022 Weve had quite an exciting few days at Nungarra Warmbloods with two Nungarra horses named on EA squads!! We have just learned that Danielle Turner and her beautiful young mare, Nungarra Bonfire, have been accepted onto the 2018 National Para-Equestrian High Performance Squad. Heartiest congratulations to this exciting duo.

13.01.2022 Another busy weekend for Nungarra Simply Red and rider Phoebe OConnell. Today they were Runner-Up at a Grand National qualifier. Congratulations again from us at Nungarra Warmbloods Phoebe - great work. Your test looked lovely and relaxed.

13.01.2022 Laura Hoffman riding Nungarra Royal Order has started the post-COVID lockdown dressage season on a great note. They competed at Lancefield on the weekend in Level 2 HRCAV for 67.7% in Test 2.2 and 69.5% in Test 2.4 to gain 3rd place overall in the Dressage Jackpot. A great start Laura.

12.01.2022 SOLD Congratulations to Kelli Weber who is the new owner of Nungarra Black Lilly. Lilly arrived home from the breaker on Sunday morning and tomorrow heads off to begin her life as a competition mount. Very best wishes to Kelli and Lilly and again, we look forward to following the successful career of another of our young Nungarra horses. Enjoy the ride Kelli.

12.01.2022 We are very pleased to announce the sale of Nungarra Royal Order (Royal Hit/Dehere). He will be returning to Victoria from Queensland, where he has been in training with Gary Lung since early this year. Congratulations to his new owner Laura Hoffman and best wishes for their journey together.

12.01.2022 Level 2 HRCAV seems to agree with Nungarra Royal Order (aka Big Roy or Reuben) and his owner rider Laura. Today they took home Reserve Champion Level 2 at the Macedon Ranges dressage jackpot day, after only a couple of outings at this level. Laura was pretty chuffed with the result as it is Big Roys birthday today. Congratulations on your terrific effort from Nungarra Warmbloods. Fingers crossed for another great day out tomorrow for the Bullengarook competition.

12.01.2022 Big Roy aka Mr Reuben (Nungarra Royal Order) really proved himself yesterday, together with his owner/rider Laura Hoffman, taking home Level 3 Championship and pointing up to Level 2. They were at Day 1 of the ASPR Dressage Competition at Elmore where they received 74.4% for test 3.2 and 70.5% for 3.4. Laura said the judges comments were very positive and gave a score of 9 for paces! Hearty congratulations Laura and Roy and best wishes for your first outing today as a Level 2 combination.

11.01.2022 Nungarra LuLu ridden by owner Sarah Wyatt competed in their first competition over the weekend in South Australia. They won both Preliminary tests with great qualifying scores for the State Championships. Next outing is next weekend so watch this space! Congratulations Sarah and Nungarra LuLu.

09.01.2022 News from Laura Hoffmans day at Bulla Winter Woolies on Sunday. Despite Nungarra Royal Order (know to his friends as Reuben or Big Roy) thinking he was at a rodeo, Laura said they still came home a happy pair. In Level 2 they took home a 2nd and 4th in Smartest on Parade and 1st and 4th in their rider classes. Well done Laura and Roy - a great result considering some naughtiness.

09.01.2022 Nungarra Royal Order and Laura Hoffman continued their successful weekend if performance yesterday at the Bullengarook Dressage Jackpot, coming 3rd in both tests. Scores were improved on Saturdays performances and Laura felt Reuben worked particularly well yesterday. One of the judges commented: Naturally active, forward moving horse with good self-carriage. Only 12.5 points until they point up to Level 1. Great progress for this young partnership - they have only been competing together for about 8 months.

06.01.2022 Congratulations to Kylie Calderwood and Nungarra Furst Class (Nungarra Licorish) on their Championship win at Juravon yesterday. Kylie said they were out to blow away some cobwebs as they had not competed for about 6 months. I guess Preliminary Champion (73% & 76%) is not a bad way to do it!!

04.01.2022 Congratulations to the two new owners of Nungarra Warmbloods youngsters. Nungarra Felicity, a 3yo filly by Furst Love has been sold locally in Victoria. Nungarra Lawrence, a 5yo gelding also by Furst Love who has recently been in training with Gary Lung, has been sold to a rider in Queensland. We wish these two delighted owners the very best for their coming journeys with their new equine partners.

03.01.2022 Received news today that owner/rider Laura Hoffman and Nungarra Royal Order have been out and about in the Virtual HRCAV dressage and showing competitions. Theyve had a pretty successful season too. 1st out of 20 riders in Rider Class, 3rd for Smartest on Parade and 5th for Ridden Mount in the Level 2 on-line Showing competition. They also gave Level 1 dressage a try with a score of 61%, with three 8s in the scores. Laura said Big Roy hasnt quite got the hang of the simple changes yet, but they are working on them. Good to have a goal Laura Hoffman. Congratulations from Nungarra Warmbloods on a terrific on-line season.

02.01.2022 After 3 years in South Australia, Nungarra LuLu is moving to her new home in Western Australia. She will continue her successful dressage career with an FEI rider, who says she is excited about LuLu’s arrival in WA. 01.01.2022 Laura and Roy (Nungarra Royal Order) had their first competition day out today at Elcho Park. Things didnt go according to plan in the first test, with Roy deciding to jump out of the arena! However, in the second test he redeemed himself with a 70.2% and First place. Congratulations to Laura and Roy. Hope this is the start of a very successful competition career together.

01.01.2022 Nungarra Simply Red and rider Phoebe OConnell have been out and about at NSW HOTY in Sydney this weekend. Huge congratulations to this team again - 1st in Rider Class; 2nd in Childs Hunter and 3rd in Open Class. So again, they are off to the Nationals to represent NSW. Great effort.

They have had a very successful few days - Reserve Champion Senior Rider; 2nd Novice Hunter and winner of the Equestrian Showcase (judged on mount, rider and equipment).
