10.01.2022 It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! If you are planning festive celebrations with your loved ones, remember to be COVID safe. Celebrations at home... can have a maximum of 50 people including children and infants, and the 1 person per 2 square metre rule applies. Remember: Don’t go to any gatherings if you are sick. Wash/sanitise your hands regularly. If you’re not at home, keep 1.5 metres from others not in your family group.

01.01.2022 Today is National Sorry Day. On Sorry Day we remember that this land has been beautifully multiculturally diverse for thousands of years. The privilege we enjo...y living on this land today came at great expense to its First Nations. This is, and always will be, their land. We honour and acknowledge the Stolen Generations. We lament and grieve with the many First Nations Peoples affected by forcible removal from family. We acknowledge that this suffering is ongoing. Today, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children are still 10.6 times more likely than non-Indigenous children to be removed from their families. Sorry must be followed by change. We commit to working in solidarity towards a different future. #SorryDay
