08.01.2022 NIGHT TIGERS REPORT ROUND 11 Round 11 Phil Hoffmann Night Tigers was won by the Blue Boys with a monster 31+24, from the Benders who had a score of 29+17 which normally would have had the Thorn Clarke wines in the bag, with Letohpa roaring home on 28-9 coming in third. Bubbles & Balls celebrated their score with a free schluck! Next Tuesday its a blue theme for our annual fundraiser for Barossa Area Fundraisers for Cancer. This is always a great night with a Monster raffle and anyone is welcome to come along and support this very hard working local group.

08.01.2022 Night Tigers were back on the green on Tuesday for the first time this year. Sponsored by Nuriootpa Chicken Centre with wines for the winners dontated by Thorn Clarke Wines, the night was a bit chilly but that didn’t worry the Benders with a score of 30+18 which nudged Letohpa into second with a score of 30+17 with the Fescue Forehanders taking last place on the podium with a none too shabby 29+22. The Rolling Rammers were stuck early and couldn’t get rolling at all until the last few ends, and for their efforts picked up the encouragement award. It was great to see so many out enjoying the night after we had to cancel the last 3 rounds of 2020 due to COVID, as we hope for better times in 2021. Catch you next week.

04.01.2022 NIGHT TIGERS REPORT JAN 7 Perfect weather, a smoky haze and free running greens heralded the resumption of Phil Hoffmann Night Tigers last night after the Christmas New Year break with only a couple of teams failing to make the starting line. (did they overindulge?) Winners on the night and not for the first time this season were the Johnnie Barefoots with a score of 29+2 who collected the Thorn Clarke wines for their efforts, closely followed by Gumtree one of the new teams ...this season with 28+3 with Micks Mongrels filling last place on the podium with a score of 27+11. The Bandicoots obviously missing the steadying influence and experience of Reuschy, came home with the free drink! Next week is the last game to decide the top 14 teams to play against Tanunda at Tiger Park for the coveted Bulldog Drummond Trophy. Teams finishing 15-18 will play against Tanunda at Tanunda.
