25.01.2022 Dear all Nuri parkrunners. You will all have been receiving the official updates via email regarding the progress towards parkrun restarting in SA. The official statement for SA is: We are working with all 38 events in South Australia to better understand how our events can comply with the current crowd density requirements in SA. ... Which means there is no tentative start date as yet, and we are likely to have 2 weeks minimum notice. Getting closer though!!!

25.01.2022 Good morning Nuriootpa parkrun community. I hope everyone is surviving the "Rona Coaster". We are quietly confident that we will restart on 5 December. This is however yet to be confirmed....... Thus once again we are looking for volunteers, particularly for the 5th and 12th December. Please comment or message directly. Volunteering doesn't mean you miss out on exercise, and can also be a great way to work up to 5km. The photographer role for example can be as dynamic as you want it to be. We still need one for 21 November..........

16.01.2022 Congratulations to everyone who did some push ups today. If like me you have spent many frustrating minutes trying to open the tracker and doubted your tech ability.... don’t worry it’s not you or me, the system has pooped itself.... Please see below.

16.01.2022 We reopen on 5th December!!! Please note we will .....be required to display a unique QR code for contact tracing purposes and we will be strongly encouraging all participants, volunteers and spectators to scan the code and sign in each week.... This will be available on social media as well, so you can scan before you get to the start and leave your phone in the car!

Melissa Peake has set up Team Barossa for the Groundwork Challenge. 13.01.2022 From 21 November 2020 we are back and will be run under the COVID-19 Framework https://volunteer.parkrun.com//open-with-covid-19-manageme This applies to all parkrun events operating in communities where there is an underlying level of COVID-19 infection and/or social distancing requirements are in place as set by public health bodies. 04.01.2022 ***Please use this map to find us!*** Hi everyone planning to visit Nuriootpa parkrun, for some reason Google maps wants to take you through Nuriootpa caravan park to get to us.... Don't follow their route! Instead please look for the parkrun flag at the entrance to Coulthard Reserve, off Penrice Road (on the same side as the caravan park). There is parking where the P sign is on the map below, then you have a 5 min walk to the start. Follow the path (the red line on the map). See you soon!

04.01.2022 See you on 21 November 2020! We will encourage all participants to physically distance at the start of each event, and ask that where possible all participants should remain at least 1m apart from each other, and avoid face to face contact.

03.01.2022 Today was a good trial run for the push up challenge. If you have realised that 30 push ups a day is not enough of a challenge for you and you want to get closer to 150 per day, consider letting me know and we could set up a team of individuals, prior to registration closing on Wednesday. That way every team member gets to contribute to the daily limit.

03.01.2022 Congratulations Nuriootpa parkrun Push up Challenge Team. We have so many team members they are recommending we split in to smaller teams and create a Community. We don’t have to. However if you would like to challenge yourself more let me know and we could split into 2 smaller teams for example....
