22.01.2022 To playing Members & Social Members, unfortunately we will not be holding any social nights on Wednesdays for a while. 21.01.2022 Statement regarding cancellation of the finals: Obviously not the ending that anyone wanted to a great season. Firstly, we would like to congratulate every team on a hard well played season that was unfortunately cut short due to health concerns from the COVID-19(Coronavirus). Although COVID-19 hasn’t reached the Sunraysia area yet but there is still the potential of someone having the virus and not showing symptoms yet. And that is a risk that the RCCA doesn’t want to take. ...Cricket Australia have said that there should not be played which was backed by Cricket Victoria trying to prevent the spread of the virus. The Nursery Ridge A Grade team are as frustrated as everyone else with the situation, wanting to defend the title of reigning premiers. The decision to cancel the finals is not the decision the A Grade team or the Nursery Ridge Cricket Club as the whole team would also like to play in the finals. We understand both sides of the argument. Stay safe and see you next season, Nursery Ridge Cricket Club
