25.01.2022 International Nurses Day 2020. Thanks to all nurses, near and far, for your dedication and commitment to helping others

24.01.2022 In the last few weeks we have been so busy with our HITH (Hospital in the Home) program. As with so many others in the Illawarra and Highlands we have had to drive through fire affected areas- and then only a few weeks later flooding. We have seen the fantastic community spirit and support given to their community by places such as Exeter in the Southern Highlands (thanks for the great coffee pitstops! ). Here's a photo showing the difference a few weeks can make- from fire to lush green grass- with the roos saying hi so close to the road!

22.01.2022 From Monday, 13,000 nurses who retired or moved to a non-practising registration in the past three years will be automatically listed on the sub-register and able to return to healthcare. The Sydney Morning Herald

18.01.2022 Thanks to the team at Crown Medical Figtree for helping us with our compulsory vaccination needs today. We really appreciate you helping us, it was great to see different health services working together so we can continue to provide care to those in need. The surgery was clean and well set up with seats/spaces for social distancing. Our appointments were exactly on time and everyone was professional and friendly. Thanks again!

For almost two we...eks Howard Court at IRT Pioneer Place has been in a form of lockdown, with limited visits and all common rooms closed. To break the isolation, they stepped out onto their internal balconies to join in a singalong of 'I am Australian' by Bruce Woodley of The Seekers and Dobe Newton of The Bushwakers.
