25.01.2022 Our all new Olive Honey Soleseife is now ready. We love pure Olive oil soap but wanted more cleaning power and a reduced slimy feel. Our goal was to find a way to overcome the limitations of pure olive oil soaps while ensuring they could still be used by people with sensitive skin. Our Ivory Mud met this goal but we believed we could do better and we believe we have. Our Olive Honey Soleseife soap lathers more like a traditional soap while maintaining a healthy dose of natura...l glycerine. The minerals and salts in the seawater help hydrate and balance skin ph while the addition of honey adds antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and healing benefits. Ingredients : Olive Oil, Seawater, Jellybush Honey Our soap bars are handmade using the Cold Process method of soap making. Available online or at Platform 3095

24.01.2022 While not a natural remedy we want to help you make your soaps last longer. By putting your soap in a soap dish that drains away excess water your bar isn't sitting in a puddle that will eat away your bar of soap. These stylish soap dishes are a warm honey colour made from uncoloured natural Bamboo. Bamboo is a sustainable, renewable and natural resource.

14.01.2022 Jellybush Honey? Jellybush honey is also known as Australian Manuka. Jellybush (Leptospermum polygalifolium) is the Australian varietal of the New Zealand Manuka (Leptospermum scoparium) plant.... Like its cousin in New Zealand, Jellybush it is an active honey known for its powerful anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Being from the same plant species and the honey having the same properties, many of the big Australian producers have renamed Jellybush to Australian Manuka to make it more recognisable internationally and to leverage the work done by the New Zealand industry. So why not just go with big boys and call it Australian Manuka? Manuka is the New Zealand name and Jellybush was the Australian name long before New Zealand discovered its beneficial properties and sold it to the world. We use the local honey so decided to use the local name.

06.01.2022 Introducing our new 100g raw-edged bar. We're changing the shape and size of Nurturalis bars. Out of necessity, we've changed the moulds that we use to produce our soap bars.... Before deciding on our new shape, we looked at our customer feedback and chose a mould that produces a 100g bar, that is narrower, longer and more comfortable in smaller hands. The new moulds have made it easier and cheaper for us to make the new 100g bar, allowing us to reduce the price. While we can, we will continue to produce our original 120g bars in limited amounts until the moulds become unusable.

03.01.2022 Sea Mud Versus Dead Sea Mud Soap Do a quick internet search and you'll find pages of sites dedicated to Dead Sea Mud products. It’s hard to argue that Dead Sea Mud products won't do wonderful things for your skin.... Why is Dead Sea Mud so good? The waters and black mineral mud from the Dead Sea have high concentrations of nutrient rich healing salts and minerals that suck toxic substances, impurities and excess oils from the skin. So why doesn’t Nurturalis have any Dead Sea Mud products? Before we use an ingredient in our products we investigate it to ensure that it is natural and that it won’t do more harm than good. Not everything natural is safe. Why is Dead Sea Mud potentially unsafe? Dead Sea Mud is sold as a wet ingredient and when sold outside the Dead Sea region it needs to use a preservative to stop bacteria from forming. When we looked at the preservatives used, from the suppliers available to us, we found that they all used formaldehyde based preservatives. While formaldehyde is a naturally occurring organic compound it has been known to cause skin irritations, allergic reactions and prolonged exposure has been linked with an increased risk of rare cancers. The levels used to preserve Dead Sea Mud are small usually 1% or less and while this has been deemed safe by the product safety organisations around the world, our preference is to avoid anything containing formaldehyde. The Nurturalis alternative, Sea Mud. Why Sea Mud? We still wanted a soap that could gently detoxify and nourish skin. Our research lead us to Sea Mud soaps and the use of French Green clay. Clays have been used for hundreds of years in many cultures and are known for their healing and detoxifying properties. French Green clay is one of the strongest and most commonly used mineral skin clays. Like Dead Sea Mud it is known for its nutrient rich healing minerals and antioxidants that suck toxic substances, impurities and excess oils from the skin. The combination of French Green clay with Olive and Coconut oil has given us a soap that can clean, soften and moisturise your skin.
