23.01.2022 As of midnight Wednesday 25th March, all Beauty Therapy clinics have been directed to shutdown for the time being. Although this is a time of physical distancing, it doesnt mean we cant still connect. So, as of tomorrow....... What we CAN offer: * Online Skin Consultations * Help with any skin prescriptions * Postage of Product * The same sense of humour, and a good old chat What we cant offer for now: * Hands on treatments Thank you everyone for your support during this crazy time. 19.01.2022 Ok Ladies, lets talk Lash Extensions. At Nurture, we have never really been big fans of lash extensions for a few reasons. * Our skin has its own microflora (bacteria), and when kept in balance we have no problems. There are restrictions to what you can use around the eye area with extensions, due to degrading the lash adhesive glue.... Your skin care regime suffers, as you cant effectively use your eye treatment products. * When you have extensions, unless you are following your therapists cleansing instructions to a T, the area can become infested with lash mites which cause crusting and infections of the lash follicle and eyes. This takes upward of 6 weeks to correct. * The glues can be very harsh and can cause sensitivity around the eyes. Each lash is glued to your own lash, and can cause damage to your natural lashes. LASTLY, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY..... DO YOU WANT TO BE A PART OF THIS? ANIMAL CRUELTY IS NOT ON. FULL STOP. If you are still considering lash extensions, make sure you tell your therapist you want the synthetic version. Better yet, use the Magnetic Lashes.
