19.01.2022 Such great news that this option is available, and will hopefully become more common! This represents two things I am passionate about...CHOICE...and Women Centered Care! Great story that shows options aren't always set in stone for future births. I have to admit though, I was loving the article up until the regular naysayer having his moment (he really feels threatened by midwives )...but hopefully people can see through his motivation!

06.01.2022 Homebirth is an amazing option for low risk women, and women should be supported for this choice. In WA we have a publicly funded program with CMP, but this only available to a limited number of women - due to funding, not necessarily their suitability.

01.01.2022 I was supported in my decision and wish for a vaginal delivery of my twins, but I routinely hear of women actively discouraged from even considering it. When making decisions about your birth place and caregivers do your research! The C section rates for some hospitals are terrifying.
