03.01.2022 MJs Clean Pasta Sauce I tsp grape seed oil 400g diced or pureed tomatoes 1 onion finely diced... 1-2 cloves garlic 1 carrot grated 1/2 capsicum finely chopped 4 medium mushrooms chopped 1 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp basil 1/2 tsp rosemary 1/2 tsp ground sage 1 tsp mild ground paprika Equivalent of 1tsp of your choice of sugar alternative I used raw organic agave 1 teaspoon Himalayan or Celtic sea salt or to taste Pinch cayenne pepper or to taste Black Pepper to taste Lightly fry onions in grape seed oil until soft Add garlic and capsicum and cook for a further 1-2 mins Add tomatoes, carrot herbs, spice and sugar sustitute. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer on low for 15 mins. Add salt and pepper to taste. All dried herbs may be substituted for a small handful of fresh chopped herbs. Serve with Zucchini noodles or slim pasta or your choice of pasta or pasta alternative. I also like to add it to salad or topped on eggs I hope you enjoy.
