05.01.2022 A way to live your life - started yesterday on number 1 by having a massive clear up. What appeals to you to start with? 1. On Items a. Own fewer items. b. Keep your items systematically in bags, boxes or drawers.... c. Focus on practicality and quality. Quality products are relatively cheaper today. d. Don’t buy things you don’t need to impress people you don’t like. e. Donate or sell unwanted items. If both don’t work, discard them. 2. On Work/Tasks a. Focus. b. Establish a Start Time and a Finish Time. Stick to them. c. Be hard working, but not neurotic. d. When not working, really rest. e. Before sleeping, plan for the next day’s work. 3. On Lifestyle a. Choose your preferred lifestyle: Adventurous, eventful, simple, etc. b. Gravitate towards it patiently. Put in the work to make it happen. c. Really know what you want, but don’t overthink it. d. You also don’t need people’s approval, as long as you’re fully responsible for your decision. e. Be grateful that you’re living your preferred lifestyle or that you’ve some goals to work towards. 4. On Values a. Value time. If you waste your day, you waste your life. b. Value competence. You want to be truly competent at something. c. Value integrity. You want to be someone you can trust. d. Value health. This is self-explanatory. e. Value simplicity. Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. 5. On Attitude a. Control your impulse. Always spend less than you earn. b. Do your best. I mean, your best. Then, whatever happens, happens. c. No matter what you do, cultivate passion, but limit attachment. d. Lift people up. e. Practice unconditional happiness.
