11.01.2022 When it comes to tropical and sub-tropical grasses, the Envirogro seed treatment process does more than just coat the seed. Throughout the process, the harvest...ed seed is cleaned and coated giving the bare seed the best chance of establishment. It also creates a uniformed seed size for improved ballistic capabilities AND, increases the seed count per bag of seed. Seed count is increased because all the sticks, weed seed and other contaminants have been removed/cleaned prior to coating. In a nutshell, Envirogro is a patented seed treatment process that can remove the common problems associated with bare seed. Throughout the treatment process, the harvested seed is processed and cleaned to improve purity and bare seed count. It then has an insecticide (Gaucho) applied before being coated with polymers and talc to give each seedling a better chance to survive thus, reducing the risk of establishment failure. Depending on the species, the treatment is tailored slightly to maximise the result. Ultimately, Envirogro removes the common problems associated with bare seed, maximises your bare seed count and enables you to get the most out of your new tropical or subtropical pasture.
