24.01.2022 Wool sales resume next week with S29 to see 56,782 bales hit the market nationally. In the North (Sydney) 13,956 will be offered. The large offering occurs after the scheduled three week recess for the Christmas/New Year period.

10.01.2022 S24 Market Update: The second last sale before Christmas recess resulted in buyers looking to fill orders of all types and descriptions. This saw a strong upwards movement in all MPG across all three selling centres. The EMI closed at 1198c/kg clean, up 54c for the week. The strong demand produced a national pass in rate of 5% 49,000 bales are to be offered next week for the last selling week of the calendar year.

06.01.2022 S25 Market Update: The last sale before the three week Christmas/New Year break has resulted in a downwards turn across all micron categories despite demand to fill orders prior to the break. The larger than originally rostered national offering brought the national pass in rate up to 18.3%. In the north (Sydney) the pass in rate was 11.8% with 643 bales withdrawn. Merino cardings provided some relief from the down turn being stable in the North and seeing positive gains in the south and western selling centres. EMI finished the week at 1157c/kg clean, back 41c on last week. Sales resume the week of the 11th January 2021.
