24.01.2022 Wow- how is it Christmas eve today?! Quick update for hours next week- Monday and Wednesday 3-9pm Tuesday 1-9pm ... Thurs and Friday CLOSED I wanted to share a massive heartfelt thank you to every single person who has walked through the doors of my clinic this year. Without you my clinic wouldn't have survived the craziness that has been 2020. I also want to say a huge thank you to Acupuncturist & Naturopath-Jo Riley For the support you have provided to me this year, and now patients in the clinic as well! Also a huge shout out to Rachel from Dandenong Ranges Massage Therapy who started a couple of months ago, and is an absolute blessing to share my space with. I never imagined at the start of the year the ups and downs that this year would bring, but it has definitely been one I won't forget in a hurry. The clinic team has grown, we were shut down for a couple of months, I have met many amazing new patients, continued to support existing patients, all amongst homeschooling four kids for six months!!! Bring on 2021, and hopefully a heap of relaxing, connection, friends, family, and good health! Once again THANK YOU!!! Merry christmas to all of you xx

24.01.2022 So hard to believe that it has been one whole year since I opened the doors to my clinic! I can honestly say I have enjoyed every day I have been at work- how lucky am I!! I can't wait to get back to treating everyone, and helping you to maintain your health. ... I want to thank every single person who has helped support me. My patients for being the best group of people I could ask for (it is you who make a my job so enjoyable!!) My family for encouraging and pushing me to further myself, as well as understanding when I am late coming home because I wanted to help just one more person Fellow practitioners for referring new patients to me, as well as being a wealth of knowledge to learn from and share with

23.01.2022 Sadly with the new Stage 4 restrictions announced today for Victoria it means I will have to cancel all appointments for the next five days. I will be in touch with everyone who has appointments that will be impacted to reschedule. I apologise for the inconvenience- it is as frustrating for me as it is for you!

22.01.2022 I just wanted to reassure everyone that at this point in time I am still open and seeing patients! You will find me wearing a mask for consultations, and I have masks available for patients as well! Please remember, that even with all the extra precautions you need to do your bit- if you have any cold/flu symptoms, cancel your appointment! Also please do go and get tested! ... 21.01.2022 Thanks to all the hard work of Victorians and the huge number of tests that have been done in the last 5 days (nearly 40,000 in 24hrs!!), the restrictions are (mostly) being lifted from tomorrow. We will be open as usual tomorrow (Rachel for massage and @jorileyacupuncturistnaturopath for acupuncture), and I will be back for a full day on Friday. ... Thank you to everyone who rescheduled your appointments from Mon-Wed this week. Please understand that because of the rescheduled appointments there will be less availability over the next two weeks or so while things balance out again. as per guidelines, masks will still be required throughout treatments, so please ensure you bring one Can't wait to see you all again on Friday!!

20.01.2022 **Important** Please note that per new requirements, all patients are required to wear a face mask when they are in public from Wednesday evening (midnight). In line with this, from Thursday I will not be able to treat anyone who is not wearing a face mask. ... If you do not have one, I have some disposable ones there for you to wear. Until then it is not a requirement, though it is recommended to wear one while in public. I of course will also be wearing a mask at all times if I am sharing a room within the clinic. I know that this is frustrating for many, but if we all do the right thing to protect each other it will hopefully bring down the numbers faster so we can all get back to our life as normal!! #maskup #covid19

16.01.2022 Guess what I have been doing this weekend?! Lots of sewing so both my partner and I (who are both essential workers, so still working) have reusable masks while we are at work. Please remember your mask when you come in for treatment- as per guidelines they are required when you leave your home. ... No stress if you forget, as there are disposable masks available for your use in the clinic. Look forward to seeing you(r eyes) soon!

15.01.2022 With the announcements today it looks like I MAY be able to open the clinic again after Sept 28. There is further information coming out in the next 24-36hrs, so I will keep you all updated. I have a few lists of patients- Those who had appointments cancelled, those who are heavily or newly pregnant, those going through or about to go through IVF, people who have contacted me wanting appointments while I have been closed, as well as everyone who I had been seeing regularly ...before closing. I will be in touch with each and every one of you once I have the green light to open my doors! So please be patient, and understand that flexibility around time mag be needed in the first few weeks- it is going to be busy! Please be assured that I will still have all the extra safety protocols in place to keep us all safe. Also please be honest if you have a sore throat, or any indications you could possibly have COVID, as I can't risk it being spread to other patients!! Can't wait to hopefully see you all soon

14.01.2022 I am open!! With the new announcements on Father's Day it would appear that allied health services are still being significantly restricted until the end of Stage 3. We are still awaiting confirmation of this, but for now I am anticipating it will be the end of October before I can open my doors to all patients again (I will update you all as soon as I know if anything changes!). Given the amount of time until I will potentially be able to open the clinic again as usual, I ...have decided to open the doors how I am currently able. As per the current Stage 4 restrictions I am only able to see patients face to face in certain circumstances: Essential care that if not provided would result in a deterioration of your condition requiring hospitalisation, or change in living arrangements If you feel like you need an emergency appointment, please call me on 0420371978 to arrange a time (I have removed online bookings for the moment). You will be required to wear a mask as per State requirements, for the duration of the appointment Please note that you are allowed to travel outside of your 5km bubble for healthcare For everyone else: Telehealth consults are available. During these sessions I will be able to provide diet, supplement, acupressure, exercises or lifestyle advice. I am open to either doing these over the phone or videochat- whatever you feel comfortable with! I will provide you with an email after the call which will outline all advice provided along with any documents to assist you with maintaining your health at home If you need more herbs, then please give me a call and I will be able to organise a prescription for you to order them online, or if you are local and I have what you need in stock we can organise a time for you to pick them up If you feel like you need some support please feel free to call or email, I am desperately missing you all and would love to help however I can <3 <3

11.01.2022 I just wanted to let you know there is currently approximately a three week wait for new patients to see me. I have made the decision to limit the number of new patients I am seeing to ensure I have enough availability to provide the level of care I pride myself on, for both new and existing patients. If you are a new patient wanting treatment sooner, I highly recommend getting in touch with Acupuncturist & Naturopath-Jo Riley who still has availability to see new patients ...on Thursday afternoon/evenings and every second Saturday. It is so wonderful being back and able to help everyone again!

10.01.2022 I was very excited to hear the announcement today that routine acupuncture care is allowed to resume as of tomorrow in metro Melbourne! I have been seeing some patients for emergency care, but it takes off a whole lot of pressure for everyon to know that I am able to see whoever needs treatment from tomorrow.... What does this mean for you? If you want treatment for any reason you can make an appointment (no need to question whether it is "bad enough", or would meet any criteria) I am not yet offering online booking, so if you want to make an appointment pleaseemail meor give me a call to organise a time 0420 371 978 I will only be resuming routine care for ACUPUNCTURE services at the moment, I am still waiting for the greenlight to go ahead for Mayan Abdominal Massage services- I anticipate this will happen after 1st November (only two more weeks!) Please wait outside when you arrive, I will open the door to let you in (to minimise common contact points within the clinic) I am limiting the number of new patients I am seeing until everything settles and I am able to see all of my existing patients. 09.01.2022 During this crazy lockdown period I have been making some big changes. After many years working as a mobile massage therapist, I have decided it's time to say g...oodbye to lugging around all my supplies and to get set up in the perfect space..... As of Monday 30th of November (if all goes well with Covid!) I will be lucky enough to be working out of the wonderful Nurturing Life - Acupuncture and Mayan Abdominal Massage with April Wood This means that from the 30/11/20 I will no longer be taking mobile massage bookings but working purely from this beautiful clinic in Tecoma. Hopefully Daniel Andrews gives us some good news on Sunday and I will be able to start back up with the mobile massage for a month before moving across to the clinic. See more

09.01.2022 Have you been wanting to come in for a treatment on a Thursday afternoon/evening or a Saturday?! Good news!! I have the wonderful Jo Riley joining me at my clinic for Thursday and every second Saturdays. ... Jo works in a very similar way to me (we have attended a number of training together, as well as her being MY acupuncturist!!), as well as having a wealth of extra knowledge as she is a naturopath as well! 05.01.2022 I absolutely love getting new books and absorbing the knowledge within! These are fantastic! The first is a journey through the digestive system, exploring the different foods that relate to each organ and why. For example kidneys benefit from seafood because the element associated with kidney is water, and the taste salt! Or the liver benefits from foods that grow very quickly- because it has the energy of Spring (the associated season)- think asparagus, snow peas or other... fast growing foods from a vine. The second book is a collection of recipes that builds on the knowledge learnt in the first, with a run down of the energetics of the foods used, and cooking methods used. Has been a while since I got so excited about some books!! I have really been enjoying sharing this new understanding of food energetics, and giving patients tools to use every day at home

03.01.2022 It is with a very heavy heart that I have had to make the decision to close the clinic for the immediate future. It has been my priority to remain open to support my patients through this incredibly stressful situation, however now with the information being unclear from the government whether it is ok for me to remain open or not, and with advice from my association I have made the decision to close my doors until further notice. I will be in contact with everyone who has ...booked appointments to confirm cancellations. This is not a decision that ivhave made lightly or easily (there has been many tears shed). I want to thank all of my amazing patients for supporting me over the last four months, which has allowed me to in turn support YOU! I look forward to seeing you all on the other side of this. Please know I am still available if you have questions about things I have recommended that you can't remember. I will also be able to send prescriptions for supplements or herbs if you run out! So please know that while I may not have my doors open, I am still very much here to support you xxx

02.01.2022 I had a realisation last week that patients I started treating within the last year have never seen my face properly as I have always had a mask on! I have had momentary glimpses of your gorgeous faces when the mask requirements have dropped, but they have not had any breaks for me as a practitioner. So I thought I would say hi from behind the mask and show my full face! ... So Hi!! Can't wait to see you all in another busy week next week
