25.01.2022 Another great weekend coming up at Nutwood - here's Eddy on the till from last weekend. Nutwood is open again FROM GOOD FRIDAY APRIL 19 UNTIL MONDAY APRIL 22 UNLESS WE SELL OUT. We are open 9am to 5pm - we have lots of walnuts and a good supply of fresh beautiful chestnuts just waiting for you to pick them up! We hope to see you at Nutwood Farm - remember to bring cash (no card facilities), a hat, bottled water, and wear closed, flat shoes. You'll also want at least half a tank of petrol. Drive carefully and see you soon! Watch this page for more updates.

25.01.2022 A big thank you to all our wonderful customers who came out for a great day of nut picking and fresh healthy mountain air yesterday. Nutwood is open for business again today! Eddy, Harriet & the girls on the till. All with well-scrubbed hands and wearing gloves. Please come out and see us today - we have 25 acres of orchard, so there is no problem at all with social distancing. As always, stay well, please do not travel if you feel at all unwell - and drive safely. We look forward to welcoming you at NUTWOOD FARM. We are open today until 4pm. Beautiful fresh organic (no chemicals) nuts are good for keeping healthy! As per yesterday, we have LOTS OF CHESTNUTS and SOME WALNUTS. More walnuts will be available from next weekend (March 28 & 29). Walnuts are always slightly behind the chestnuts. Thank you, the team at Nutwood Farm.

24.01.2022 Spotted on Danes Way. First koala seen in the area for years. NUTWOOD's extensive orchard is now waking up in spring. And new nuts are forming. We'll be open again for PICK YOUR OWN CHESTNUTS AND WALNUTS from March 13, 2021. We hope to see you then. Stay safe. And keep washing those hands.

20.01.2022 Need a break from Corona news? Sick of working from home? Got cabin fever? Stay positive and upbeat - get out and about by stretching your legs this weekend at NUTWOOD FARM, picking our lovely fresh nuts. With 30 acres to roam, there's no problem staying a few metres away from your fellow nut pickers. And we won't have more than 500 people at any one time. So get out and about and enjoy the fresh healthy mountain air. The perfect weekend pick-me-up !

08.01.2022 HELLO NUT PICKERS !!!! A quick message to say we have not been affected by the December fires - and will be open from SATURDAY MARCH 14 and SUNDAY 15 - our first open weekend. We will be open every weekend from then until late April (NOTE: Weekends only). Hours: 9am to 4pm. We will open all four days over Easter (Good Friday April 10 to Easter Monday April 13). We will be updating this site regularly throughout the 2020 season, which will run from March 14 & 15 - each weeken...d and over Easter - until late April. 08.01.2022 A quick note given as always, we are getting so many walnut queries. We have LOADS of chestnuts and SOME walnuts this weekend - first in on Saturday, best dressed with walnuts. There will be more walnuts next weekend (March 28 & 29) and April 4 & 5. Walnuts always fall a bit later - but please come see us for a healthy day out. Naturally, we just ask you respect the new social distancing measures of 4 sq m and do not travel if you're feeling unwell.

07.01.2022 NUTWOOD is open this weekend March 21 & 22 (9am to 4pm) and we never have over 500 people at any one time - more like 100! Please don't travel if you feel unwell; otherwise, we look very forward to seeing you this weekend! We're open every weekend until the middle of April. BYO handwipes! 06.01.2022 Dear lovely customers - so sorry to let you know, but we have decided to shut Nutwood to pick your own for the remainder of the 2020 season in the interests of community health, IN SHORT: NUTWOOD IS CLOSED, effective immediately. The message from health officials, doctors and governments is clear: we all need to stay at home and not risk the further spread of coronavirus. Even though Nutwood is a glorious outdoor setting, we don't feel confident in the current pandemic to put... anyone's health at risk by tempting you up here! So please, accept our apologies - stay home and safe with your loved ones at this difficult time for all of us. If you cannot do without your fresh chestnuts and walnuts, please message us and we'll arrange an online order. We have collection points with Eddy at Bilpin and in Sydney, or we can try and arrange to deliver them in a COVID-19 safe manner! 04.01.2022 Hello there nut pickers ! A quick update as we are unsure whether we'll be open this coming Saturday March 14. Mt Irvine is still waiting for the council to clear the road post some fire damage. Due to wet weather, they fell behind with the schedule. The minute we know if we can open or not this weekend - we'll post it here. In the meantime, we will DEFINITELY be open Saturday and Sunday March 21 & 22 from 9am to 4pm.
