16.01.2022 A farewell from our beautiful Bonnie... It is with very mixed emotions that I write this. I have had the chance to speak with some of you in person but it’s now time for the official update. I will be heading off on an overseas adventure into the new year. While it’s come around very quickly (almost too quickly!) I am looking forward to all the learning that lies ahead.... It has been the most amazing few years at Nuwa with you all and I am so grateful for every moment. Currumbin beach as an office will be sorely missed, but not quite as much as Jess and Otis and all the wonderful people I have met through Nuwa’s door. My last day of treating for the year will be Monday the 11th. If you would like to come in for a treatment before I head off, please don't hesitate to get in touch. You will be in the best of hands with Jess and Josephine in my absence. With love and gratitude, Bonnie x

01.01.2022 All about Acutonics Maybe you have never heard of sound therapy before, but we bet you know exactly what it feels like to get a tingle down your spine when you hear someone play an instrument beautifully or the calmness of listening to a singing bowl. Acutonics and sound therapy are effective alternative therapies that work in much the same way. ... Acutonics is the application of different sounds and frequencies to specific acupuncture points in the body. Tools such as tuning forks, gongs and other instruments resonate with different parts of the body, promoting balance, healing and inner harmony. Originally derived from Eastern Traditional Chinese Medicine practices, sound healing dates as far back as the 2nd Century, where scholars wrote about the ‘tremors of heaven and earth’ and the shared rhythms of nature and the human body. This specialised practise can give extra attention to areas that may be difficult to treat with conventional acupuncture. Many patients report a noticeable improvement to areas like the neck, chin and jowls, which can appear ‘lifted’ by the vibrations of the tuning fork as well as improvements to overall health, wellbeing and vitality. If you have an aversion to needles, or are simply looking to explore new alternative therapy techniques and modalities, get in touch with us and find out what sound therapy options are available to you
