22.01.2022 Don't let this happen to you! A 'buyer beware' warning... There're a lot of boats up for sale around Townsville and plenty of owners genuinely don't know the problems their boats may have. It's always best to get a written report on the state of the boat from someone who's experienced and will stand behind their report. Currently working with one new owner who brought their boat in to us to check out damage to the bow. The owner had the boat inspected by a local boat repairer (who only did a verbal report) who said the boat was fine. Turns out it's not and there's a considerable amount of $$ needed to bring the boat up to a safe standard.
22.01.2022 Just manufactured a vacuum cylinder for an aquarium to replace existing damaged module. New laminate is 15mm thick, compared to 5mm in old module. Old laminate separated from the former and imploded.
21.01.2022 Just finished glassing a house number. Original was timber and the customer wanted something that would weather well.

18.01.2022 Recent alteration to a Stejcraft. Removed under-bunk liner and fitted fibreglass stiffeners where there were none before. Repaired cracking in side and out.

10.01.2022 Recent bow repair on a 25 Proline. Previously had two repairs done to it so we had to remove all the bog and damaged fibreglass and re-laminate the repair and shape the bow. We matched the colour and refinished in gel-coat.

08.01.2022 Did a job recently that was a bit out of the ordinary for us. Filled in the back of a 43 Obrien, that was an ex Boating & Fisheries boat. Transom was originally built to launch and retrieve an inflatable. Made a one-off custom mould to suit the shape of the boat. Photos show construction and fitting.

01.01.2022 One of our ongoing projects - not fibreglass but a work in progress. Doing up an old insulated shipping container as a sort of 'tiny house' for the block. We put rolled roof beams on the top of the container and will sheet that soon with trim deck. We've sheeted the sides of the container with multi-clad.... Don't have any pics of the old floor, but it was an aluminium air-flow floor. We've sheeted it with flooring ply.
