Anyone looking to make some series handstand gains in 8 weeks, someone who has has some experience with handstands and is looking for some extra support to get some solid holds off the wall. Correct the line, improve shoulder strength and stability, work towards longer freestanding holds. ... This program spans over 8 weeks, starting with a 2 hr workshop on the 20th June to teach you everything you need to progress in your handstand practice. You will be separated into groups and given home work to complete each day. 07.01.2022 Post from our member Michelle I would like to share my how TMC have helped with my son's (10 yrs old) recovery from a condition called PANDA'S and tell you a bit more about it! At the beginning of this year Lleyton had difficulty catching a ball, didn't have energy or coordination. Last week he did the following:... Wall walk 1 min Bar hang 1 min Tuck hold over 30 sec on the rings 9 skips in a row (as of yesterday 11 and 33 in a minute) Threw/caught a ball over again without dropping it He loves going to TMC and now goes 3 times a week with love and enthusiasm. I'm so thankful to the wonderful trainers who 'let him be' when he needed space/recovery time or gave him choices when his mind or body couldn't cope! Everything about TMC is amazing for him! I'm also trying to raise awareness of a largely undiagnosed condition called PANS/PANDAS and I'm giving away CAKE!! I'm announcing the cake details in the next few days. There are 2 types of flexibility - passive flexibility is relaxing the muscles into a stretch and active flexibility means strength throughout your range of flexibility. . A professional ballet dancer can push into a full split relaxed (this is passive flexibility) but they can also use the muscles in their legs to pull their leg up into a full split (this is active flexibility).... . At tmc we work on both passive and active and we aim to have both ranges as close together as possible. . Having strength in end range is really important for building a solid foundation for your movement practice but it’s also just important for good physical health and longevity. .
