09.01.2022 The Waverley Softball Association were greatly saddened at the passing of long time member Ron Pilkington. Ron was a part of a great WSA family, his 6 daughters... all playing for Brandon Park Softball Park, and his wife Heather also heavily involved. Ron served as WSA president for two separate terms through the 80’s and 90’s and was a tireless worker for the Association and Softball in general. The development of the facility at Waverley owes a lot to Ron’s perseverance, passion and plain hard work. He had a particular interest in junior softball and in his time the Easter Carnival famed to be a major, much loved tournament. We have many, many fond memories of Ron’s time at Waverley Softball. Our thoughts are with his family

03.01.2022 After what probably felt a long 10 years, Cass will be stepping down from the committee this season. She will be leaving some big shoes to fill, as her hard work and tireless efforts have definitely not gone unnoticed. We hope to continue to build on the solid foundation she will be leaving behind, including the increase of some strong junior Falcon numbers she has fought hard to develop. Thank you for all of your time and endeavours, Cass. Well see you out at the park next season
