19.01.2022 PENDANT LIGHTS They work so well in open plan spaces to create zones & focal points. Try pendant lights over your dining table, kitchen island bench or in a corner of your lounge area for a cosy reading nook.

18.01.2022 FAREWELL 2020 The year is almost over and it sure has been a rollercoaster ride. From the excitement of starting my new interior design business, to plummeting into lockdown for weeks on end and then soaring again with lots of new & exciting projects including 3 extensive residential renovations. I can’t wait to share their progress as they start to take off early next year. One of them will include this joyous powder room. Thank you to my amazing clients - I am so grateful for your trust & support. Thank you also to my wonderful trades who make the vision a reality and thank you to my loyal followers. My heart is full of gratitude to be doing what I love. Bring on 2021!!

16.01.2022 MATERIALS Material samples make me so happy so why not display my favourite ones? That was my thinking when I installed these shelves in my office - I can rotate the samples on display and keep the ones I want to use in my upcoming projects fresh in my mind.

12.01.2022 HOME OFFICE CONCEPT - Looking forward to bringing this beautiful study space to life in 2021. My clients work from home (even before COVID!!) and they needed a space that felt relaxed but also professional. I added some luxe too with the brass accents & grass weave wallpaper.

11.01.2022 SHOWER ROOM CONCEPT This small shower room includes layers of materials and tones of grey to create a feeling of serenity and luxury. My clients will feel like they are in a day spa every day.

11.01.2022 PANTRY GOALS Some clients need help with styling & accessorising but this one definitely doesn’t!! We have worked together to select all the furniture & artwork but she has selected most of the accessories on her own. When she sent me this pic of her pantry setup, I was wowed! Look forward to sharing more of this beautiful home in the coming few months. #pantry #talentedclients #pantryorganization #pantrygoals #interiorstyling #interior #interiordecorating

07.01.2022 MATERIALS PALETTE A beautiful warm, textured palette for an amazing new study bathed in natural light. All the walls will be covered in black grassweave wallpaper, the custom joinery will include leather & aged brass handles. Brown leather desk chairs and a green velvet armchair will complete the space. So excited to see this one come to life very soon! #study #design #interiordesign #interiors #interiorinspo

03.01.2022 LOCKDOWN I started my business between the first and second lockdown.....not ideal timing!!! And this second lockdown has been hard....my business has slowed right down with me not being able to visit my clients at their homes, not being able to visit suppliers’ showrooms to make decisions quickly & efficiently (instead having to rely on small samples via snail mail) and clients being more cautious (understandably) to make decisions when they can’t touch, feel, see samples... in real size & real life. I have also found it difficult to remain motivated to continue posting on IG.....although I have some work still on, a huge amount of passion & love for my job, I have lost a bit of my mojo. But there is light at the end of this tunnel.....very soon I will be able steam ahead with my renovation projects, start visiting my waiting list of clients who want to use my services & I will resume my regular IG posts. I have also promised myself that I am going to get out & see lots more of our beautiful city & surrounding regions. I have made a post lockdown to do list which includes visiting Lyon House Museum, Point Leo Estate, Acre Farm & Eatery, Tarrawarra Estate and Campbell Point House. This image is from one of the most incredible, powerful, surprising & exciting experiences I ever had the privilege of visiting at last year’s Rone’s Empire in the Dandenong Ranges. Truly unforgettable!!!!! I am craving more of these inspiring experiences & I would love to hear your suggestions of other special places to add to my list!
